John Edwards Revisits His Past, Hanging Law Shingle Again
BY PETER LATTMAN AND KIM SEVERSON
Before he served as a United States senator, before he made a run at the presidency and before his political career collapsed amid a sex scandal and fraud trial, John Edwards was a trial lawyer.
Now, Mr. Edwards is returning to his roots and opening a new law practice. The plaintiffs firm, Edwards Kirby, reunites him with his former partner, David F. Kirby, and includes on its payroll his eldest daughter, Cate Edwards.
The reason we formed this firm is because we all believe in the same thing in standing up for the disenfranchised and those who need an equal chance, Mr. Edwards said in a telephone interview from his offices in Raleigh, N.C. Thats why we exist.

Back to stealing money from doctors.

Edwards is a lot like Ted Bundy, the serial killer. Let’s be thankful he’s just stealing from doctors and abandoning his cancerous wife.

Because he should be in jail not out in the street again stealing money from doctors. It shows there’s a double standard in this country.

The reason we formed this firm is because we all believe in the same thing in standing up for the disenfranchised and those who need an equal chance. . . .And all who believe the "If you like your plan, you can keep your plan," line will believe this so-called "progressive" and caring teller of untruths in order to gain public acclaim and political favor also!
When Edwards puts his own millions out to start businesses in his own home state and home town, risks those investments to create jobs and an "equal chance" for his fellow citizens, then perhaps his "standing up" will take on some meaning. Until then, his record must "stand" on its own--just a lot of rhetoric expected to gain him money and power.
