Another day, another rough patch for the Affordable Care Act.
House Republicans released documents suggesting that President Barack Obama's White House had early and direct warnings about the anticipated problems with HealthCare.gov, and new poll figures find Mr. Obama at the lowest point in his presidency.
A Washington Post-ABC survey indicated that some voters might even be rethinking their 2012 choice in the presidential race.
The poll found 49 percent of respondents said they would vote for Republican nominee Mitt Romney if the election were held today, and 45 percent said they would back Mr. Obama.
Opposition to the 2010 law, upheld in 2012 by the Supreme Court, also reached a record high in the survey, with 57 percent opposing the Affordable Care Act. Of those, 46 percent are "strongly" against it. That's down from a survey one month ago, before the website rollout went awry, when the public was about split.

Don't worry about the people of America...just how the numbskull and his boss Valerie will be affected.
Dems have a choice: go down with the ship or look for a lifeboat. I suspect the latter as self preservation is far more important than party loyalty.
This is the unHoneymoon period for a Democrat. They have 3.5 years to create his legacy of greatness.
Sound like Nazi Germany yet? Capos inhabit the Regime and Congress, ya think?

ONLY 57% oppose Obamacare.
Obamacare must be strictly enforced. No illegal executive decrees, no delays. BURN.
BURN. BURN. BURN.
Not until 80-90% oppose Obamacare can we let up.
While a mutiny is unlikely, we might just see the old, salty dog sort of unofficially retired. Expect Bill Clinton to pipe in quite a bit more. He is still the de facto leader of the Democrat Party, and they will rely on him more and more.
Yep, that is good news.
In one reincarnation--Obama let us in on his plans.....and its truly frightening. Obama once promised that he'd pursue "the kind of bold, persistent experimentation that Franklin Roosevelt pursued during the only crisis worse than this one."
Now with the albatross of Obamacare dragging us down--- sinister Obamatons' intention to revisit the Depression comes to mind---and then what came to be known as FDR's New Deal.
SOUND FAMILIAR? In 1939, ten years after Wall Street crashed, FDR's Secy of the Treasury Morgenthau told the House Ways and Means Committee: We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work. ....after eight years of this administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started .....And an enormous debt to boot!.
Obama is no historian but he knows a plan when he sees it. As FREEPER TADSLOS indightfully posted: The New Deal was an abysmal failure, then a global war broke out in large part by our enemies perception of our weakness.

YIKES is Obamacare the new New Deal?
The left is scared. They will roll out all their slime machines to destroy normal people.
Nah, the media is using this time to send a message to Obama. “You do what we want or we keep this up”. In the first term, Obama set the narrative. In the 2nd term, the media sets the narrative. They have a year before the election. When the campaign starts, the narrative will be:
“Americans are tired of the Obamacare criticism and want to see real change. Americans want single-payer. Americans want common-sense gun laws and fairer taxes”
We probably cannot win the Senate because state-wide elections are now controlled by the precinct captains in the large cities. That’s what happened in Virginia. The Republican was ahead with 88% of precincts reporting and we lost by 2%. The Democrats just figure out how many votes they need to win and they send those votes last.
Obamacare is the next Holocaust, IMO.
A hypothetical question “if the election were held today”. It isn’t being held today, people who voted for Obama are idiots and we’re in a world of shxt because of the idiots.
Little late to say the least.
Isn't it odd how none of the 'oh so smart' journalist at the New York Times even asked how things were going with the bait and switch ObamaCare? They just passed on the talking points handed to them - and fed them to the fools who still trust that paper...
To think that journalists were just as surprised as everyone else that it wasn't working, was based on lies, and that it would hurt many Americans. Guess the NYT 'journalist' assumed it would be wonderful if thought up by 'the ONE'. They won't catch the next bunch of lies either... or the new 'bait and switch' tactic... Knee pads ready?
-——The left is scared.——
The rational left is scared. The hard core irrationalists are probably just mad it has come to this.
For the rational, the future is plain.........
Do we bluff our way trough and lose
Do we get rid of Obama and hope for continued life but lose
As an old timer, I look forward to posts from Quidam advising secrets of the committee of 7 gray heads visiting the White House and demanding resignation.
Pretty interesting to scroll down to the comments and see how they’re mostly against Obama and Obamacare. On PBS.
“Pretty interesting to scroll down to the comments and see how theyre mostly against Obama and Obamacare. On PBS.”
Yeah, I’ve been noticing the same thing for a few weeks on liberal and quasi-liberal news sites, namely, massive push-back against Obamacare, whereas before the obamacare rollout those sites were mostly infested with liberals parroting Jay Carney talking-points.
Not only has obama (and his liberal allies) lost much of the MSM, he’s losing the country as a whole.
I am surprised this monster is a doctor.
