Now with the albatross of Obamacare dragging us down--- sinister Obamatons' intention to revisit the Depression comes to mind---and then what came to be known as FDR's New Deal.
SOUND FAMILIAR? In 1939, ten years after Wall Street crashed, FDR's Secy of the Treasury Morgenthau told the House Ways and Means Committee: “We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work. ....after eight years of this administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started….....And an enormous debt to boot!”.
Obama is no historian but he knows a plan when he sees it. As FREEPER TADSLOS indightfully posted: The New Deal was an abysmal failure, then a global war broke out in large part by our enemies perception of our weakness.
