In Wisconsin, dozens of conservative groups and allies of Gov. Scott Walker are undergoing political intimidation from the left at the hands of a special prosecutor.

Subpoenas have been issued demanding correspondence and donor information of right-leaning organizations and individuals and raids have been conducted resulting in law enforcement officers taking computers and files in a secret investigation, according to reports.

“In recent weeks, special prosecutor Francis Schmitz has hit dozens of conservative groups with subpoenas demanding documents related to the 2011 and 2012 campaigns to recall Governor Walker and state legislative leaders,” the Wall Street Journal writes.

I don’t think the Governor has the authority to step in.

When do the concentration camps open? In Germany it wasn’t too long after kristalnacht. Should be any day now.

When government acts illegally, violating your God given rights, then say no.

You are only authorized to participate in the political process if you are a Democrat.

Non-Democrats will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the selectively-enforced law.

The difference is, McCarthy was right. And, he didn’t jackboot down anyone’s door.

Incidentally, the term McCarthyism was invented by the Communist "Daily Worker."

This action by the special prosecutor is an attack on free speech -- political speech for that matter. This action is so indicative of a Nazi or Communist dictatorship that these Commies/Alinskyites, spawns of the devil; etc., that it cries out for those who can enjoy their 2nd amendment freedoms.

Don't underestimate this stuff. A zealous prosecutor can do a lot of harm. Three recent cases stick out. The Republican Sen.

Ted Stephens of Alaska was hit with charges by a partisan prosecutor and it cost him re-election. He was convicted just a few days before the vote, only to have all the convictions thrown out. But, by then the damage (Sen. Lisa Murkowski) was done.

Scooter Libby became the focus of the deranged special prosecutor Fitzgerald and was eventually convicted of a non-sense crime of "lying to the FBI", because his recollection of a conversation was at odds with two journalists, years after the fact. Further, President George W. Bush failed to pardon him, inexplicably. (Perhaps a pissing contest with Chenney, if recent books are accurate?) Thus, this had a huge negative impact on his life. (Loss of voting rights, law license, ability to own guns, etc.)

Tom Delay was convicted, in 2011, of supposedly violating Texas election law. This is amazing when you consider the violations of FEC rules are almost routine at the Federal level and almost always result in minor "slap on the wrist" style fines. The conviction was over-turned on appeal, which is being challenged by the DA. Again, this ended his career, but was essentially a completely fabricated charge.

it is a crime to be a conservative in wisconsin now.

they are trying to get any dirt to derail a presidential run.

we need another special prosecutor to investigate this special prosecutor and unmask who’s pulling his strings, and see how it goes back to democrats, unions and obama.

Very good memory you have, regarding Stephens, Libby and Delay! ...I’ve never figured out why Bush didn’t pardon Libby.

Well, we *are* the Elephant Party -- and yes, I'm holding a grudge!

Thanks for the nice comment.

.I’ve never figured out why Bush didn’t pardon Libby.”

Yep....... all of us. This was why Cheney and Bush were NOT even talking at the end. Everyone in DC knew Libby was innocent and let it ride. Sick, isn’t it?

Dems always stick together. The GOPe might be after Walker for all we know. That bunch stinks to high heaven.
