Are Nervous Democrats Starting to Eye Obamacare Repeal?
Townhall ^ | 11/18/13 | Guy Benson

**SNIP**

And the Obamacare debacle could very well grow worse. Also complicating the Left's messaging are conflicting and shifting explanations of their lies. President Obama claimed that there was no lie, then attempted to re-write his infamous promise, then half-assedly 'apologized' for it. Skittish Democrats like Mary Landrieu and Jeff Merkley are insisting they had no idea that millions of Americans would lose their coverage because of Obamacare, while others breezily admit that everyone knew. How is it possible that Landrieu was totally in the dark, while the truth was blatantly obvious to her Senate sisters? (Hint: It's not). Will Mary Landrieu and company take '100 percent' responsibility for their feigned ignorance?

After what you’ve seen, would YOU want to stake your political career on Obama’s ability to make this work??

"I don't see it. It took 50 years and the opportunity of a lifetime (Dem control of House, Senate, and Executive) to get the thing passed by one vote. The very last thing they'd do is leave it vulnerable to repeal. "

I concur.

Even McConnell doesn't want to repeal it, much less delay it.

Naaaah. The stalinists in the ‘rat faction of the uniparty and the trotskyites in the gop faction are unified in their desire to see mcconnellcare come into full flower.

As for the rest of us who will have to contend with it, mcconnellcare is simply a nation killer.

The longest 5 minutes of your WHOLE LIFE are those between entering the Disneyland parking lot at age 5 And actually getting in —adults don’t understand.

THAT IS ZACTLY HOW I FEEL NOW.

I am lightly wetting my underpants, giggling.

“The only way Obamacare has a chance of being killed is if the GOP gets a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate, retains control of the House and seats a solid conservative in the White House.....and even then, they may not have the fortitude to repeal.”

May not? DO NOT.

The gop wing of the uniparty has zero interest whatsoever in a repeal. They’ll be perfectly happy to tweak it and make like they’ll actually do something useful. But in the end, repeal will always be just a little too hard for the gop to do.

If Landrieu was in the dark it proves how really stupid she is.

They were all warned, time and time again.

Were they all unconscious?

The huge majority of “conservative” “Conservative” “Tea Party” “GOP establishment” etc talking heads and punditry are widely overblowing the problems the ACA is facing, and the GOP voter base are being widely (And purposefully) misled down a path of ruin.

Every schmuck commentator who writes an article like this is straight out lying to your face and calling you an idiot.

I hope Freepers don’t take these wild eyed articles like the original post, with anything more than a grain of salt.

ACA is not going to disappear due to the current IT glitches.

WHY?

The fixes for these problems are available today, as off the shelf IT systems, that are used in over 20 countries around the world.

The ACA IT problems will be fixed by next sumer during the primary season, and every schmuck talking head who is claiming the ACA is dead , are going to slither under a rock or disavow the idiotic columns they’ve been writing for the last 6 weeks.

Any GOP politician running against the ACA due to these IT glitches will look like an idiot by June primaries, and could well lose the general election due to their “Doomsday” predictions that didn’t pan out.

and the last two weeks provided numerous examples of how public opinion has turned so hard against the law

Um, public opinion was never, ever, FOR this monumental p.o.s. law in the first place. It's just that opinion is now pushing 80% against, instead of 65%. And the only reason public opinion was even at only 65% against, is because the media did such a good job of carrying the democrat's socialist water.

Like it matters anymore. He could get a veto proof bill fired at him from both houses aimed right at valerie jarot’s ass and he would ignore it. He has nothing to fear since your worthless GOP congress won’t even say the word “impeach” for just making up law on ordering insurance companies to re-issue insurance policies.

ACA is not going to disappear due to the current IT glitches.

You are mixing apples and oranges. Nobody is saying that ACA will disappear because of IT glitches. They are saying that ACA will disappear because people are beginning to realize its implications. The glitches are an embarrassment. The real fatal flaw (if it is indeed fatal), is that people are losing their coverage, and finding that their only option is to get less coverage for a lot more money (money they can often not afford).

“Can’t he be both?..................”
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Not really...an idiot who tried to destroy the economy would do some things that would actually look as if he is trying to do the right things for the economy. An idiot cannot make a zero on a multiple choice exam. Obama’s score on the economy is zero so either he is NOT an idiot and is trying to destroy the economy or he is being directed by someone who is NOT an idiot who is telling him exactly the right things to do to destroy the economy. An idiot simply blundering around on his own would do something that makes sense sometime just by accident, regardless of his intent, what does Obama ever do that makes sense except in the context of a deliberate attempt to destroy America? I can’t think of one thing that he has done that a sensible person would regard as an honest attempt to help this country in any way.

Cancellations of existing policies is NOT A GLITCH--NOT AN ERROR--NOT AN ACCIDENT. Cancellation of millions of polices is a FEATURE of Obamacare.

I think they’re going to do Obama’s favorite expression: “double down.” They’re not going to give up on this, and if the GOP thinks this very visible disaster is going to discourage the Dems, the GOP is nuts.

The Dems are scared of Obama. There was a momentary rebellion, but it’s over now.

It would be smart politics, in my opinion, for the Democrats to say, this is such a mess, let’s repeal and start over.

The whole reason Democrats are able to hold power is their hypnotic ability to cloud their followers' vision. A Democrat who acknowledges that Obama is less than perfect would risk having his followers escape their mind fog. Better to explain that Obama lied because lying to give the people what they need is good, than to admit that he lied because he's a no-good con man. What I'd like to see from some of the Republicans would be a hammering of the point that the Democrats who are so "shocked" by Obamacare's failings could not reasonably have been unware of them when they passed it. Either they were in on the whole scheme, or else they were grossly derelict in their duties to vet the legislation that was put before them. In neither case do they deserve re-election.
