Don’t know Greg. Their show is off the WPGB lineup. It’s on the affiliates websites. I don’t know if I should start the thread tomorrow or not. Will they turn up in another market? Will they have an internet show? The show that’s on now just plain STINKS!! Does WPGB seriously think that show will attract listeners? I see tons of listeners tuning out. WPGB had one of the best lineups for talk radio (well, at least up until 6:00 pm).
I agree with RS_Rider. I don’t recognize this country anymore either. :-(

IIRC, this type of thing has happened with other hosts, and they ended up on their feet. I just hope they get a clear sounding station for my mom ASAP...

at 8:35 WYSL Rochester reported that Quinn and Rose have been terminated by their parent station in Pittsburgh. They said they were notified 10 minutes before the broadcast was supposed to start this morning.
I do not know. I hate this employment issues, as it is hard to find out what exactly is going on...
The thing Jim reported on last week about the FCC delving into program content likely did it. Clear Channel has too many licenses to defend.

The FCC is initiating a “study” (i.e. fishing expedition) to examine what news stories get reported on radio, who makes those decisions and how. With the implied threat that those found lacking will be punished. A velvet hammer approach to getting their minds right.
:( Been a Quinn and Rose devotee since 1997. I hope they come back somewhere, somehow stronger and more vocal than ever.
What did you hear?
I sent an e-mail to both Quinn & Rose expressing my support and asking that my e-mail addy be added to their fan list if they have one. I asked to be notified if they were to return to the air on another station.
My heart and my head are hurting right now.
Is that their website or the stations?
