A U.S. Army soldier has been charged with premeditated murder in the deaths of two civilians during the Iraq war.
A Joint Base Lewis-McChord release on Friday says that Sgt. 1st Class Michael Barbera was charged for the 2007 killings. The charges stem from an investigation into the shootings of two people near the village of As Sadah in the Diyala Province on March 6, 2007. …

the article didn’t describe the incident in detail so I don’t know all the facts.....YET having said that I don’t trust this administration isn’t using this event to just take out another military person.

A U.S. Army soldier has been charged with premeditated murder in the deaths of two civilians . . . stem from an investigation into the shootings of two people near the village of As Sadah in the Diyala Province on March 6, 2007. I wonder how much these "two civilians" had in common with the "civilians" who were shooting at our soldiers and planting explosives. I'd guess the civilians were terrorists, based on the pattern of behavior from our Community-Organizer-in-Chief, but too little information is being released at the moment to be sure.

March 2007?! Damn, that’s when I was deployed over there, which probably means he was in the same SBCT, since our Battalion held back in Baghdad while the rest of the Brigade went to Diyala province.
That place was no joke, too. I heard plenty of horror stories about what those guys went through. Even as bad as Baghdad was around that time, I was glad not to be in Diyala.

And if this is in any way legit, why isn't obama charged for premeditated civilian murders every single time he orders a drone strike from his easychair? The pos brags about how good he is at killing people. What does justice mean in a world gone mad?
