In that any 'Fix' will only hasten the ACA demise, let the Dem's 'Fixes' fall where they may with no Republican fingerprint on any of it.
I agree. The democrat proposal to extend these policies for one year is not supportable. If allowing people to purchase these policies is the right thing to do, then why does it become wrong one year from now? Either allow them in perpetuity, or not at all.
Vote present, and tell the dems if they want out of the hole they dug for themselves, they need to vote for full repeal. All of it.

I dont think that’s necessary. This is a popular vote which is why Dems are scared. House GOP should takes those once in a while.

I agree. Mitch and Cry baby Bonehead should gather LOTS of Republicans, grab a microphone and systematically with a chart with DATES on it, go right down the line with these tidbits:
*Signed Obamacare Christmas Eve, NOT ONE VOTE from GOP
*Pelosi said pass it to find out what’s in it.
*Enzi’s bill that ALL DEMS voted against saying millions would lose their policies.
*Explain the backroom deals that the insurance co. made with the devil & Obama to cancel these “junk policies” then jump over to exchanges and make REAL big bucks.
*Demand to know what is said in today’s White Hut meeting with insurance guys.
Ok.. add other disgusting items to this list.

The only "fix" the repubs should get involved with is REPEAL. All or nothing. Don't put this on life support.

Should Republicans “Demand delay” or “Changes” to 0bamacare for extending the debt ceiling ?
If they do, I suspect they will get a boat load of Democrat support and may work to the Dems advantage.
Should they go one step further and call for a complete repeal of 0bamacare ?
How much democrat support would they get and would it lead to a compromise that is just another delay, which would allow dems some cover in their reelection efforts ?
