Voters slammed on the brakes last week, rejecting Amendment 66, a $1 billion across-the-board income tax hike, and three heavily-subsidized union school board candidates. Instead, voters gave reform candidates the green light.
Jeffco voters elected three conservative school board candidates Julie Williams, John Newkirk and Ken Witt all of whom opposed Amendment 66.
Williams, Newkirk and Witt, who campaigned as the WNW ticket, will now hold a majority on the five-member school board that includes union-cozy incumbents Lesley Dahlkemper and Jill Fellman, whose terms end in 2015. The new trio is expected to take office on Nov. 21.
Forty-eight hours after Tuesdays election, Jefferson County School District Superintendent Cindy Stevenson emotionally announced her resignation after serving 12 years, effective July 30 at the end of her annual contract.
Reform candidates Williams, Newkirk and Witt campaigns managed on a shoestring budget compared to their opponents Tonya Aultman-Bettridge, Jeff Lamontagne and Gordon Spud Van de Water, whose campaigns were fueled by unions

the board will likely reassess some of the items in the collective bargaining agreement that are serving union interests rather than working to help kids in the classroom.

To allow a liberal on one’s school board is equivalent to a giant troll squatting and taking a giant bodacious Obama on the school building.
Yup, flies, stink, sewage...and liberals....pretty much the same.
When do we start treating these vermin like they treat us?
No moderates here.
Colorado Ping ( Let me know if you wish to be added or removed from the list.)
Here’s the real story on the Union’s Jeffco loss.
They were so sure of victory in Jeffco, that they focused all of their time and effort trying to help defeat the Douglas County schoolboard conservatives.
They lost that battle too, as our DougCo conservative slate swept to victory with 4% & 5% margins.
I have always opposed all mail voting, but I have to admit the Dems may have shot their foot off because I think they lost more turnout than we did.
Even Cindy Stevenson realized that we won.
With all of recent Colorado successes, its now time to turn our attention back to Sen. Evie Hudak in SD19.

Never trust anyone with a hyphenated last name or someone who’s nickname is “Spud!”
from “Spud’s” website:
“Originally from New York, I moved to Colorado in 1981 and more recently to Jefferson County. I offer a fresh, independent perspective on the issues affecting Jeffco Schools.”
Not all of Colorado’s troubles come from California! Here you have a New York Marxsist termite!
JeffCo/Arvada is definitely a swing area (used to be heavily Republican), my grandparents live in the old suburb section of that town.
Here’s hoping Reform/Tea Party candidates can once again win!
The New York City Marxist Mayor also has been harassing Colorado for a while.
We are on to him now as he has been losing alot.
Hopefully she will go back under that rock in New York that she crawled out of.
Those seeking petition signatures need backup to protect against intimidation, aimed both at them and any potential signers.
Heres the real story on the Unions Jeffco loss.
It certainly is the real story and it’s great to see.

Is this one of the counties that recently voted to secede from the state?
In Colorado, the Douglas county (south Denver) voters also rejected Amendment 66, another school system money grab by State constitutional amendment, the second amendment in the past 15 years, and they rejected 4 of Mayor BloomingIdiot from New York City and liberal backed candidates for school board, instead affirming 4 conservative candidates. This was an outright rejection of school union thugs grabbing money from our kids. The union was kicked out of Douglas county schools and they desperately want back in. They lied in all kinds of mailers and phone calls, claiming things that were outright lies.
Nope. Those counties were northern counties. Jeffco and Douglas are Denver area counties.
Ya. And he keeps losing money. Yeah!
