The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 44% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Obama's job performance. Fifty-five percent (55%) disapprove (see trends).
The latest figures include 20% who Strongly Approve of the way Obama is performing as president and 45% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -25.
This is the presidents lowest daily job approval rating in over two years. The last time his daily rating was this low was on August 31, 2011.

Voters are now evenly divided when asked whether the president lied about the potential impact of the new national health care law before it was passed by Congress.
Despite the presidents oft-repeated promise that Americans could keep their health insurance policies if they liked them, news reports indicate that the implementation of Obamacare may force millions of Americans to change those policies and pay more for them. Seventy-one percent (71%) think Americans should be allowed to keep their current health insurance policies even if they do not meet the standards set by the new law.
Just 35% of voters believe the health care law is good for America, and 55% favor repealing the law, with 43% who Strongly Favor it.
Fifty-four percent (54%) now oppose the health care laws individual mandate which requires every American to have health insurance by January 1.
Democrats jumped to a seven-point lead over Republicans on the Generic Congressional Ballot during last months government shutdown, but now they lead by just two.
Sounds like the French Revolution again.
Beats me.
Too many Americans are tied up with more important things than their dissolving republic - like Miley Cyrus, Reality Shows, the Superbowl, World Series, and God knows what else.
We have evolved into a nation of morons.
All the bad features of this plan have been exposed
******
We are just seeing the open sores now. There’s lots more trouble brewing. A whole lot more. The complexity of this thing is absolutely mindboggling. This party is just getting started. Better load up on lots of popcorn.
Look at this data flow diagram. A softare and administrative nightmare rolled up into one! Obamacare is unfixable because its incomprehensible and run by people who are incompetent.

Americans are not dumb by nature, but by the collusion of Communists through the ‘education system’ they organized.
Calling people stupid doesn’t help solve this problem.
We have evolved into a nation of morons.
***********
I would say ‘devolved’. :)
But in all seriousness, you’re absolutely right. The typical American is now the proverbial frog slowly boiling in water and doesn’t even know it. The country is distracted by trivial pursuits, trinkets, and television.
You must keep in mind that, to a leftist, disapproval just proves that the masses aren’t as smart as you are.
I’m not sure that they are much stupider than I think they are—I have grown fairly enthusiastic about my application to become a permanent resident of Canada, something I hesitated to file for many years.
I can’t beleive this idiot got re-elected. His polls are traditionallty in the dumper EXCEPT FOR the few months around election day. Candy Crowley - check the transcript!
“Calling people stupid doesnt help solve this problem.”
Posting on an internet forum that has a focused audience doesn’t do anything. It doesn’t fix anything. It doesn’t make anything any worse. What it does, is allows the poster to vent.
Americans are stupid. If anyone finds that objectionable, I’m open to reading contradictory evidence.
great for the 2014 midterms

How can there be more people “Strongly in Favor” (43 %) than there are those who believe it is “good for America” (35 %)?
One year after that date, in August 2012, during the run-up to the election I was self deceived to believe that Obama's improvement in the polls from his August 2011 low was an anomaly or the faulty technique of posters who are undercounting Republicans. My assumption was that people thought the way I did, that once a person had become disabused of the "hope and change" fraud he would never go back to supporting Obama.
I fully misunderstood the resilience of Obama with his base, I failed to note that there is a difference between approval in the abstract and choice between two candidates. Once Obama had and opponents, actually even before, he was able to demonize his opponent and, relative to that candidate, he was favored.
I further assumed that as people began paying attention to the election they would look at Obama's record and they would think the way I do and come to the obvious conclusion that the man was a radical leftist and dangerous for America. That kind of hubris is fatal in every general and in every campaign manager.
One more piece of evidence that the world does not think the way I do, the electorate will not vote the way I want even if the facts are explain to them, because my issues and my arguments are irrelevant to them. That does not mean I am wrong, it means that I had better find a good campaign manager with better skills for the next go round.
Not a bad idea for the entire Republican establishment to consider.
I used to follow this particular stat religiously. I believe this is the lowest it has ever been, but I could be mistaken.
“The pressure should be on: REPEAL this abomination of a law! Keep saying it as the Rats are starting to jump ship.”
I couldn’t agree more. Obamacare is like a wounded beast, and a concerted, coordinated effort should be made to kill it... completely. Every GOPer should be loudly and aggressively pressing for the repeal of this monstrosity. They should remind the public which party forced them down this malicious path and which one will lead the way out of it. Say repeatedly there are 40 repeal bills sitting Harry Reid’s desk. All he has to do is put one of those bills before the Senate and let the people’s will be done. Of course Obama won’t sign it into law, so the dems are again hamstrung with the ability to get a veto-proof majority.
At least 8% want to destroy America, or believe that it will be good for them personally, and if it is bad for America, oh well.
Which stat—the Abyss, or strongly approve vs. strongly disapprove?
“Too many Americans are tied up with more important things than their dissolving republic -”
And those two fat bastards from the Miami Dolphins. This crap on the MSM just serves to “distract” the LIV’s!
I mean it’s the highest negative I remember seeing.
He has hit -25 several times in the past, but the lowest seems to be -26 on August 23, 2011. Could a NEW record be in the offing? One can only hope.
