Has the forest benefitted from government interference with Mother Nature? When the government does not allow the forest to burn off naturally the result is uncontrollable fires in the future.
I think they may be a correlation between all misguided government endeavors and the outcomes. The government interferes with the natural order of the economy and the economy remains broken. The government interferes with the worlds absolutely finest most advanced health care delivery system and chaos results. The government attempts to correct poverty results in more poverty. The government borrows money to reduce the debt and it results in more debt.
What was there about this Reagan observation that liberals couldnt comprehend. "In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem."
This observation is far scarier. Those who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again. Ronald Reagan
I'm just saying!
When you’re cold.
When you have an ox to roast.
A micro burst blew down about 100,000 acres of trees at Steamboat springs Colorado. The forest service went in to clean up the problem. The Serra club sued to stop them. Pine beetles flew out, got in tho the wind and spread and killed over 300,000 acres of forest. Talk about homegrown terrorists.
Oh, I know the answer to this question. After the tree is full of liberals who climbed it.
I Got It!
When enough liberal wiccans are tied to them? ;-)
When is the Correct Time to Burn Fallen Trees? ANSWER:TREE O’CLOCK.Sorry,I couldn’t resist.
In 1999 a big storm (they called it a derecho) blew down 370,000 acres of trees in N. Mn. They just left them there. Everyone held their breath every for years for fear of a conflagration. Finally the trees rotted. We really lucked out.

Then, the dead tree pile [ 30 feet high or so ] caught fire decades later.
Killing the soil [ massive long term heat ] , polluted the air for weeks with smoke, polluted the streams for years with ash, killed wildlife [ fish, too thru lack of oxygen in the water ], cost the taxpayers millions to fight the fires, prevented good paying logging & milling going to middle class families, and
100,000 acres? Glad it was only a “micro” burst.
The correct time for a “controlled” burn in the mountains of New Mexico is in the springtime, when the winds are at their peak. Or so the US Forest Service thought back in 2000, when they almost burned Los Alamos to the ground (Cerro Grande fire).
Gotta love those friggin people...
Jumping up and down and clapping in full Family Feud mode...
Wintertime...in your stove.
Now just started the wood stove the first time this fall.
It would be so obviously easy to answer this question in the literal sense.
Ask yourself, are you growing older? are you a little slower than say 10 yrs ago? Are your eyes a little dimmer? Hearing a bit less? Confused sometimes or just having a senior moment? Cancer much? Diabetes? Kidney/Liver problems?
With the AHCA as Sarah Palin warned us all, the death panels will come and the govt will decide the correct time to burn fallen trees.
so sad ...............but Ronnie was right.
When is the correct time to burn fallen trees?
WHEN THE GOVT AGENTS AREN’T AROUND!
“When the government does not allow the forest to burn off naturally the result is uncontrollable fires in the future.”
IIRC, the fire was lit by the National Park Servic was told by Forestry Service not to burn.
ParcMan said schedules have to be kept, and lit that fire against advice.
The rest is history (and charred forest).
Question: When Is The Correct Time To Burn Fallen Trees?
ANswer: After the merchantable timber has been harvested, then controlled burning can begin.
