Latest Massacre of Syrian Christians Covered Up in the West
Chroniclenews ^ | November 8, 2013 | Srdja Trifkovic

When a false-flag atrocity occurs of which Muslims are the purported victims, the United States goes to war to save them—the January 1999 stage-managed “massacre” at Račak, in Kosovo, being a classic example. When all-too-real massacres of Christians by Muslims take place, they are unreported in the Western media and uncommented upon by Western politicians.

“Slaughter in Syria: 45 Christians Killed by Islamists in Sadad and Thrown into Mass Graves,” CatholicOnline reported on November 5. The facts of the case are obvious from the rebels’ own shockingly gruesome footage ( here with English subtitles ) and from the government forces’ initial video report after liberating the town (viewer discretion advised). As The Tablet reported on the same day, civilians unable to escape – including the elderly, disabled, women and children—were subjected to death by torture, including strangulation. The bodies of six members of a single Christian family, aged 16 to 90, were found in a well, prompting the Melkite Greek Catholic Patriarch Gregory III to ask, “How can somebody do such inhumane and bestial things to an elderly couple and their family? I do not understand why the world does not raise its voice against such acts of brutality.”

Sadad, a town of 15,000 mostly Syriac Orthodox people, is on the strategically important road from Damascus to Homs. It is mentioned in the Old Testament books of Numbers and Ezekiel. Most of its 15 churches have been destroyed or looted during the week-long jihadist reign of terror (October 21-28), most prominently the Church of St Theodore which the jihadists from Al Qaeda’s Nusra Front used as a base.

The initial detailed report, accompanied by graphic images, came out of Syria on October 31. “What happened in Sadad is the most serious and biggest massacre of Christians in Syria in the past two years and a half,” Archbishop Selwanos Boutros Alnemeh, Syriac Orthodox Metropolitan of Homs and Hama, told Fides on November 1:

Forty-five innocent civilians were martyred for no reason, and among them several women and children, many thrown into mass graves. Other civilians were threatened and terrorized: thirty were wounded and ten are still missing. For one week, 1,500 families were held as hostages and human shields, among them children, the elderly, the young, men and women… All the houses of Sadad were robbed and property looted. The churches are damaged and desecrated, deprived of old books and precious furniture. Schools, government buildings, municipal buildings have been destroyed, along with the post office, the hospital and the clinic. What happened in Sadad is the largest massacre of Christians in Syria and the second in the Middle East, after the one in the Church of Our Lady of Salvation in Iraq, in 2010.

“We have shouted aid to the world but no one has listened to us,” the Archbishop concluded. “Where is the Christian conscience? Where is human consciousness? Where are my brothers? I think of all those who are suffering today in mourning and discomfort. We ask everyone to pray for us.”

That no “human consciousness” is to be found in the White House, or in the editorial offices of the leading Western media, is now a matter of well-established record. Just try searching for “Sadad” (or alternatively “Saddad”) on the websites of the Department of State or The New York Times. Ditto the leading European dailies, the CNN/BBC/RTF, the human-rights defending “NGOs” et al.

The problem, of which Archbishop Selwanos Boutros Alnemeh appears unaware, is no longer in the Western elite’s mere indifference to the impending demise of Christianity in the lands of its birth, but in its active, ongoing, and open contribution to that demise. Cyprus (1974) and the Balkans (1991-9) provided the test, Iraq (2003-today) the conclusive proof. In Syria the Obama administration remains committed to supporting the rebels—ah, yes, only the “moderate” ones, like the Christian-murdering “Free Syrian Army” (discretion advised again), not “even though” the result will be the same, but precisely because it will be.

The spiritual inspiration, ideological outlook, methods and long-term objectives of Bashar al-Assad’s fighting foes is no longer in doubt. That makes them the natural allies of the Clintons, Obamas and McCains of this world, who have naturally progressed from being “post-Christian” to being zealously anti-Christian. For the fruits of their labors just ask the non-Muslim former denizens of Famagusta, Sarajevo, Pristina, Benghazi, or Baghdad.

Obama nor the MSMS gives a rat’s ass about these killings. Hell, they don’t give a damn about nascent life either.

And Obama wants to support these rebels, which means I’m supporting them by buying American. There doesn’t seem to be a right answer.

I’d like to see that happen.. a global nongovernmental network to aid groups facing persecution.

I stress nongovernmental because very few governments can be trusted to stand with Christians.

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.”

this didn’t happen when Assad had control of the entire country. President jerkoff here is more concerned with a winning side building statues of him.

Martyrs of Saddad, pray for us.

Lord Jesus, give America, a country that loves Thee, a government that loves peace.

Lord Jesus, liberate the Holy Land from the muslims.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.

Obama will have to send the Rebels some more ammunition to replace what they shot up.

Obama by the way will never issue a statement on this like he did for Trayvon.

When someone says “towelhead” the outrage is deafening. When they kill Christians, the world is silent.

Prayer for Peace in Syria

God of Compassion,
Hear the cries of the people of Syria,
Bring healing to those suffering from the violence,
Bring comfort to those mourning the dead,
Strengthen Syria’s neighbors in their care and welcome for refugees,
Convert the hearts of those who have taken up arms,
And protect those committed to peace.

God of Hope,
Inspire leaders to choose peace over violence and to seek reconciliation with enemies,
Inspire the Church around the world with compassion for the people of Syria,
And give us hope for a future of peace built on justice for all.

We ask this through Jesus Christ,
Prince of Peace and Light of the World,
Amen.

Petition: For the people of Syria, that God may strengthen the resolve of leaders to end the fighting and choose a future of peace.

We, the MSM, must not tell anyone about the Muslims murdering Christians. The truth about Muslims might: 1) ruin the Left’s cozy relationship with Islam in their joint quest to destroy Western Civilization, 2) expose the lie that Islam is “the religion of peace”, and 3) expose the MSM and Left as the anti-Christian bigots that they are. The media is EVIL and malicious.

Yes, I am sure, but perhaps you and I have different understandings of a nation (implied in “country”).

Obviously, the people who elected Clinton twice and Obama twice, each time having at least in terms of Christian conviction a better alternative, cannot be collectively described as God-loving. But people are not a nation. A nation is formed when a national elite exists; elite not in terms of money or positions of power, but in terms of understanding of the national idea and devoted to the national interest. Such elite exists in America, and it is God-loving: they do vigils in front of abortion clinics; insist on prayer at public events; go to church and take their children; have entrepreneurial work ethic; are proud of their heritage. That this elite is outnumbered, for the first time in centuries, is a fact, — but that, — not the 47 percenters, — is the American Nation.
