President Obama considered veteran Harlem Rep. Charles Rangel a political hack and had such little regard for Jesse Jackson that he “effectively banned” the civil rights leader from the White House, a new book claims.
The political tome about the 2012 presidential campaign, “Double Down,” says Obama had little patience for “professional left” activists and “vanishingly close to zero” for what a White House aide called “professional blacks.”
“Apart from Georgia Congressman John Lewis and Jim Clyburn of South Carolina, Obama had nearly as much contempt for the CBC (Congressional Black Caucus) as he did for the Tea Party Caucus,” the book says.

Although I am 100% against the political ideals of Charlie Rangel their is a major difference between him and Obama.
Rangle laid his ass on the line in Korea, and acquitted himself with honer, Charlie Rangle is a patriot, but I must add, a misguided patriot.
Obama is not a patriot, PERIOD!
I would drink a beer with Charlie Rangle any day. Hell would freeze over before I would have a friendly drink with Obama.

Interesting juxtaposition...
On one hand he has contempt for the CBC because I think he sees them as "house negroes"...many of the representatives in the CBC are completely unqualified to be dog catcher let alone a Congressman, except for them beng from a black district...
I'm sure Obama looks down his nose at them being uncouth and uneducated unlike himself...brilliant, smart, savvy and a perfect pant crease...
He has contempt for the Tea Party caucus because they stand for EVERYTHING he hates about America...and they are the biggest obstacle to his grand vision for America...
Obama hates all Americans and wants to kill them and destroy the economy with "Obamacare"
Obama IS the enemy of all Americans, the liberals are his "Useful Idiots"

It should come as no surprise to anyone - Dems of all colors have hated Blacks since the parties inception.
Thankfully Margaret Sanger was able to get them to go along with her ‘Negro Project’ which first started recruiting Blacks leaders and pastors to help forcibly sterilize “uninteleget Black women” and has seen her vision flourish into full-blown genocide of Black Babies at the hand of her organization. Obama reminds me of the way some foreigners are from developing countries. The educated ones from developing countries who immigrate to the US tend to come from the upper economic strata of those countries and they often look down on the unwashed. It’s snobbery mixed with racism. He looks down on Americans.
