Was Sandy Berger ever punished for stealing records from the archives????
LOL! No way. Just like Scooter Libby was pardoned for something he didn’t do to begin with even though “dick” armitage fessed up. (at least I think it was dick) BTW. I saw a novel written by mz. plame at Sams club the other day. A book about espionage. I think her hubby joe wilson did the immaculate research for it. Besides, “What difference at this point does it make?”
No he was not. And I don’t even think he was charged with the felony he should have been tried and convicted of committing.
If a 21 year old Marine Lance Corporal accidentally takes a single classified document out of a secure area to his home in a folder, he can go to the brig.
But Sandy Berger rifled through and stole one-of-a-kind documents and got away scott-free
Berger Will Plead Guilty To Taking Classified Paper
