The White House might broaden the availability of federal discounts on healthcare coverage under ObamaCare to help consumers whose premiums are going up, according to a report.
The administration is considering expanding the premium tax credits that are available to some people purchasing insurance coverage on the new exchanges, according to Huffington Post.

These are tax credits, on a massive scale. Effectively, he will be creating a second monetary system. If you know Gresham’s law, you should be able to figure out what will happen. The end result will be the devaluation of government reimbursement to the point where no one will accept EBT cards, viola, rioting and looting across the country.
It’s going to happen anyway, the sooner the better.
Continuing to break the law of their unconstitutional *tax*/*law of the land*. This latest “change” should completely void this debacle and make it null and void.
What I don’t get is that it doesn’t help people who work, but earn less than poverty level. But they make too much to get Medicaid. It seems like these are the people obamacare should help. It doesn’t make sense.
*More! Free! Government! Sh*t!*
The USA has already been bankrupted, what’s a little more debt between friends? How about a free week in Vegas with all-you-can-eat lobster for every EBT recipient who registers as a Democrat?
And I don’t just want a pony, I want my pony to make $10/hour!
Its one thing to not enforce a law its another to spend money or extend tax cuts without a change in the law.
I agree 100% about Americans apathy but with so much attention on the Obamacare failure I can see how this could backfire on Obama too,
This seems like the beating that we all been waiting forever for.,
So what about that Constitution!
This is a tax and all tax laws originate in the House of Reps not the Whitehouse.
If this is such a GREAT product, why do you have to basically bribe people to sign up for it?
Although I see the situation getting worse each day, I think the essential point is that we are already "there". The tipping point has been passed, and we are subjects, not citizens. Some of us know it, but not enough.
Taxes haven't been covering the spending for a long time. This is more borrowed money.
67% of the population was at or below the 400% mark in 2010-11...

Probably 70% by now.
So right now around 70% of the population is already subsidy eligible.
Anybody who wanted free healthcare already had it. The rest of us won’t qualify for their handout.
He wants all of the middle class to be getting handouts...that will make it much easier to control the bourgeois.
The congressional staff members are not eligible right now because of a glitch in the law. They are very upset and threatening to resign. Congress will take care of its own.
I’m happy to hear that Congress is getting a close up view of the anger the rest of us feel! Maybe they won’t laugh it off the way it seems they usually do.
I recall we had a big laugh about what would happen when the dopes who voted for this fiasco found out it was not free medical insurance. Unfortunately the laugh is on us as this thing moves to being free medical insurance for about 90% of the population.
O turd is going to keep throwing cash at this monster just to get it up and going. After he has completely destroyed the individual market, he will rest well in the notion it is national medical insurance and he has reached his goal.
A wonderful idea.
If you are a Marxist Muslim.
Actually a Marxist who is using Fascism as a first step to Marxism.
*****Tax you and me so the insurance companies can make money selling policies to people who do not need or want them.
That gets them on his side.
Same thing Hitler did in his early days. Big business loved him for it.
Then he turned nasty and by then they were afraid to disagree.*****
And there you have it folks, history and the future in a nutshell.
It does work in the states that bought into Obama's Faustian bargain to raise the Medicaid minimum to 138% of the poverty level (and other stuff). At first all states were required to participate but the supreme court shot that down.
Yeah. I’m sure the pink tie GOPe will show the proper amount of umbrage.
