Congress is gearing up for a series of votes on measures that could upend the entire Obamacare scheme, as both the House and Senate now have bills that would allow Americans to keep their health insurance policies in the face of the Affordable Care Act, no matter what.

Sen. Mary Landrieu, a liberal Louisianan who voted for the Affordable Care Act in 2009, is up for re-election in 2014. Like many Democrats who fear public anger over the law, she is moving to political redefine herself as an oath-keeper.

They're worse than idiots. They're downright frauds. They know this can't happen, but they are posturing to save their butts. I hope their constituents see right through it.

At this late date, there is no fix. There are only 50 or so days before the dropdead date. It will take all those days to debate the impossible solution.

That leaves the insurers no time to develop and disseminate new policies that must still be bought by the insured.

For the period January 1 for perhaps at least 90 days, for those in question, there will effectively be no insurance, no payment to providers, chaos
