I knew a liberal who claimed that parents who don’t have televisions in their homes are somehow unfit.
Everyone knows real parents take their kids to In N Out and Five Guys. ;P
I bet in the world of “Demolition Man” they could make the case that not taking your child to Taco Bell would be as bad or even worse!
The judge needs to slap sanctions on the mother and the court appointed psychiatrist. The father needs to take some testosterone injections and visit Hooters once in a while.
“Adding insult to injury, he said: My wife immediately took him to McDonalds. “
Sounds to me like “Mom” is the unfit parent here....though it’s stupid to make such a sweeping judgement on so little evidence...but “Dad” seems to spend so much time apologizing that I’ve gotta think he isn’t gonna stand a chance in court.
Can’t we all just get along (and pig out once in awhile)?
My ex tried something quite like this.
I would go Galt, tell the judge and everybody..”fine you give in to the kid’s behavior...I won’t pay child support and I will disappear into the streets before I would ever give in to my kid’s bad behavior. You folks take the responsibility of raising up a sociopathic little monster! I’m gone!”
Can I supersize that bourbon for ya, Judge?
The McDonald’s Angus beef mushroom and swiss burger is mighty tasty albeit a bit pricey. Their coffee is good too.
Meanwhile Moochelle is always telling us you’re an unfit parent if you DO take your child to McDonalds.
Just can’t win.
The article states that Mr. Schorr spent $2,750 for the ‘evaluation’ by the shrink, which consisted of interviews with mamma and child.
I find it strangely satisfying that Mr. Schorr, a Manhattan corporate lawyer, was/is forced to spend likely tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars on fellow lawyers during his divorce/custody battles. Something about sharks devouring sharks when they smell blood in the water.
Unfortunately, the child is caught in the middle, a pawn that mamma (and poppa, I think) are using against each other. It sounds like neither is a fit parent and both need to grow up!
While poppa was right about McDonald’s, it sounds like they are both going to destroy this little boy, teaching him that he can get whatever he wants by throwing a tantrum. For most of us in the real world, that does not work. Of course, with all the tantrum throwing, he could someday be _resident of the US!
Now, see, this wouldn’t have happened if only he were living in uber wacky lib Austin, TX where they’re thinking of banning fast food.
And I never allowed my kids to throw temper tantrums. They were immediately punished.
It is amazing my kids turned out to be successful and happy adults.
Mt wife and I can count the number of times this year we have been to a McDonald’s, Burger King or Wendy’s on one hand..
I would totally agree if the restaurant in question were a...
Dickey’s Pit Barbeque
Bob Evans
Waffle House
P.S. Don’t hate on the last one. I’ve never had a bad meal there and yes, it is a cultural experience to go to one at least once in your life.
