President Obama on Wednesday sought to assuage anxious Democrats who are worried that ObamaCares troubled rollout is going to come back to haunt them during the 2014 midterm elections.
Theres a lot of pent-up frustration among Senate Democrats who are facing voters next year, a party source familiar with the meeting told Fox News.
A Democratic source told Fox News Ed Henry that some of the senators in the room floated a delay of up to one year in the laws implementation an idea the president rejected. The source said, however, that senators left the White House feeling that it was a constructive meeting.
The meeting could suggest that momentum is building for Democrats to force changes to the law. A letter circulated in late October among Democratic senators urged the Obama administration to delay enforcement of the health care laws individual mandate, a recommendation supported by senators Mark Pryor, D-Ark., Mary Landrieu, D-La., Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., Mark Begich, D-Alaska, and Kay Hagan, D-N.C., all of whom were present at Wednesdays meeting.

Man cannot form a fate as complete as the reality God makes. He turns men's plans inside out and accomplishes His will over all their objections. And it is our job to think God's thoughts after Him, to find the cracks and weaknesses in the schemes of human hubris, and walk through them like open doors, to find the place God wants us to be.
every week for two years we will be hearing absolute horror stories and there will be nothing anybody can do about it.
Pass the popcorn this is going to be sooo interesting.
Some Republicans are finally showing some balls and calling out Obama and Subellius and calling for Subellius to resign.
I want them to put on the full-court press and stop using weasel phrases like “Patently untrue” and call Obama what he is: A LIAR!!!
If Rush already isn’t doing so, he should play the old “Castaways” song over Obama talking.
Liar, Liar lyrics by The Castaways:
Liar, liar, pants on fire
Your nose is longer than a telephone wire
Verse 1:
Ask me, baby, why I’m sad
You been out all night, know you been bad
Don’t tell me different, know it’s a lie
Come kill me, honey, see how I cry
Verse 2:
Why must you hurt me, do what you do
Listen here, girl, can’t you see I love you
Make a little effort, try to be true
I’ll be happy, not so blue
[repeat chorus]
Verse 3:
If you keep on tellin’ me those lies
Still goin’ out with other guys
There’ll come a day I’ll be gone
Take my advice, won’t be long
Verse 4:
When that day comes, won’t be mad
Be free of you, but I’ll still be sad
In spite of your cheatin’, still love you so
I’ll be unhappy if I let you go
[repeat chorus]
You think constituents are ticked off now, just wait until they have actually started to pay their new premiums.
