You find a way to prove otherwise without the media. I have made friends with several inner city pastors in Detroit and gotten to know people in their congregations. I'm just a poor rural white guy who is a tea party conservative. I have nothing to give or take but respect. I talk to them about my avoidance of dependency and the freedom it brings.

The Tea Party doesn’t really exist per se. It’s just a strawman. There are types of Tea party groups but I’ve never seen one that was well-organized with large numbers of members.
It’s more like a media label for “you hate these people now”.

how do you get past that kind of Media Programming?

I don not care anymore what only 12.7% of our population thinks. They have no ability to run a free and advanced society so I have taken to ignore them. I watch them to ensure they do not harm me or mine but other than that I give them no regard.

If we have to fight I will fight. Our founding Fathers did and I will also. Too many people in our Country and here on FR will not pick up arms as they have their comforts and do not want to have to dispose of them to do what will probably need to be done.
