It's a story that has left the entire country wondering about the state of law enforcement in New Mexico.
4 On Your Side revealed how David Eckert rolled through a stop sign in Deming. A K-9 named Leo alerted that it sniffed drugs on Eckert's driver's seat.
And, for the next 14 hours, those police officers, and doctors at the Gila Regional Medical Center performed eight medical procedures including x-rays, rectal finger exams, enemas, and finally a colonoscopy.
According to a federal lawsuit, officers Boby Orosco and Robert Chavez were two of the officers involved, and they never found drugs inside Eckert.
Our investigation reveals another chapter. Another man, another minor traffic violation, another incident with Leo the K-9 and another example of the violation of a man's body.
Police reports state deputies stopped Timothy Young because he turned without putting his blinker on. Again, Leo the K-9 alerts on Young's seat.

The story also reveals that the cops dog "LEO" was not certified in NM and the doctors that performed the exam can have their licenses suspended.
"Hey, I wasn't alerting. I sniff everybody's butt. Can't you see I'm a dog?"
"Why are you pulling that guy's pants down and what's with the rubber gloves? "
Ain’t the WOD grand...
AWWWWWW!
No way for me to be mad at the GSD, but the pigs and the quacks...yeah, screw them.

NM list PING!
Follow up to yesterday’s horror story from Deming.
Hey, in this case now the aliens are getting the anal probe. In New Mexico it could happen either way.
So these cops are SERIAL rapists - not just one-time rapists... has Gov. Martinez commented on any of this yet?
I’m sure Gov. Martinez is upset over this.
This man will be coming into a lot of money .... New Mexico tax payer money.
She’s been busy campaigning with Chris Christie in NJ.
He will indeed be a very wealthy man. And he should be. And then the civil rights prosecutions should begin. Before the war on drugs, this would have been utterly unheard of.

Welcome to NM.. The southern part of the state is a "LITTLE" behind.. Lawsuits waiting to happen. Word to the wise, "Stay out of southern NM"
He deserves and is due every cent. And yes, the civil rights prosecutions should start ASAP.
There’s a laundry list of criminal charges that need to be filed against the cops and the doctors. I hope this goes beyond the civil charges. These criminals need to be in prison getting the same treatment they dished out.
What is wrong with NM?
Nothing that isn’t wrong with everywhere else.
Cops, Courts, DA’s corrupt and power hungry, just like the people want them to be.
“There’s that dog with the cold nose again!”
Everywhere?
A small amount of hyperbole...
But if you want to pick on Alaska fine:
This was with the cameras rolling on Alaska State Troopers tv show.
Some kind of snowmobile event lots of people camping out, riding snow mobiles and drinking.
A guy gets hurt, has a cut on his face, not too bad but a cut. A trooper goes up to him and offers medical treatment. The guy refuses. The trooper touches him. The guy says “don’t touch me”. The trooper touches him again. The guy again says “don’t touch me.” The officer gets rough and really really touches him. The guy punches the trooper in the face. Guy is swarmed, subdued and off to jail he goes. They interview the officer afterwards and he looks all hurt and says he was “just trying to help and the guy was non compliant”. The officer goes on to ruminate that unfortunately in Alaska assaulting a Police Officer is only a misdemeanor and it was just too damn bad they couldn’t charge this guy with a felonie. He said all this while looking all butt hurt.
This was done with the cameras rolling. What is wrong with the culture of Law Enforcement everywhere? The perp told him to leave him alone and Officer friendly took a bad situation and made things worst. If the Officer had just backed off and let the hurt guy get over the pain and shock he probably would have sought the medical attention. But this wanna be tough guy couldn’t take “non compliance.
That’s just one story of a small incident. But that incident is indicative of what is wrong with Law Enforcement in this country.
I could relate scores of much more violent and disturbing incidents like this but I just don’t want to write that much and you don’t want to read that much.
“We” have the Police we deserve.
Another thread mentions Martinez as a Vice presidential pick. Where does she stand on Amnesty?
You do have a problem with hyperbole, not to mention spelling.
