Thread for discussion of tonight's VA Gov Elecitons Result. Is this too early?
I do like Ken. Would be great to defeat Warner
I know and no one can trust them. They are the only ones still updating. It’s all FWIW.
Its a combination of abortion and birth control for young white women, immigration for first and second generation lations, race issues for blacks, and handouts for the ever growing FSA. Throw in the peace creeps, union thugs, and government workers and you have a tough to beat coalition.
Yes its going to be a recount most likely but its important to be ahead going into it. As I speak the margin is back down to 820 votes.
What the GOP says it did to help Christie and Cuccinelli

McAuliffe's victory speech gave away that the GOPe was heavily involved in his victory. (Damn them all to hell- efn Vichy republicans.) But, it is what it is.
The Gope wants the Tea Party gone.
The Tea Party needs to learn what they can from this loss-Come up with strategies to counter the tactics that were used against them , and move on to the next battle.
All in all they did well here, considering that they had zero support from the GOP, a dirty trick, from a so called libertarian opponent, and the "help" given to McAuliffe from the GOPe.
True, there is a large âremnantâ (Spiritual faith) still going strong, but I hope this translates more in the younger generation (Work a lot with young adults/Millennials who have cynical and sometimes combative attitudes towards Judea-Christian beliefs).
Young white women with no moral compass. Most raised by bra-burning 60s radical mothers.
Of the precincts left in the AG race, Obama netted about 2,000 votes. Turnout, however, was about half of 2012 so Herring can expect around 1000 net from where he was when Obenshain was up 1,164.
So going into the recount it most likely will be within 100-200 votes either way.
A.P. has it
Attorney General - General
2536 of 2541 Precincts Reporting - 99%
Name Party Votes Vote %
Obenshain, Mark GOP 1,096,746 50%
Herring, Mark Dem 1,095,926 50%
Here are the positives....even with a seven percent Libertarian taking votes, even with the GOPe giving little help to Cuccinelli, even with the shutdown aggravating the Federal booracrats from NVa, even being outspent 10 to 1, a Tea candidate only lost by 2 percent....CNN calling it a victory for TeaParty

A moral victory is better than nothing.
That describes a good part of the population there.
And their zero tolerance on free speech.
FYI Republicans won House of Delegates 65-34. Or there abouts. mCaULIFFE AIN’T GETTING MUCH OF HISANTI GUNGARBAGE THROUGH THAT.
It’s throughout all of America. A man such as Guiliani would have no chance in today’s Soviet satellite of NYC.
Right before midnight Mark Herring met with a small gaggle of reporters and said the race is essentially too close to call. He would not respond to reporter questions if he called Obenshain yet.

“The commonwealth has a process to make sure that all the votes are counted and we’ll make sure we go through that” Herring #va @CBS6
You caught that.
It snuck under the moderadar
Per the Attny General race, Herring needs 7,459 votes and not all votes are in yet. There were 4,404 write-in votes. @CBS6
