COLUMBUS, Ohio - A prison doctor couldn’t find veins in the arms of an Ohio death row inmate during a pre-execution check-up, the inmate said Friday by video in rare court testimony as he challenges the state’s new, never-tried lethal-injection method.
Condemned child killer Ronald Phillips said the doctor could find only a vein on his right hand following an examination on Oct. 18 at the medical centre at Chillicothe Correctional Institution, south of Columbus.
“I guess the Lord hid my veins from them,” Phillips said.
Phillips testified as part of a lawsuit brought by his attorneys to delay his execution while they gather evidence against the state’s new execution policy, which includes a two-drug injection process.

Have to ask if this guy stopped hydrating in the days leading up to the execution. Veins in the hands will work just as well as arm veins.
I hope that there is a special place in hell for villains like him. Maybe the good Lord hid his veins in hell. He'll find them there, waiting for him.

Grab a flap of belly skin, pull it out and give it to him inter-peritoneal. He’ll absorb the dose just fine.
Forget the veins, how about slowly cooking him to death like the French use to do to Islamic assassins in the early 1800s? Tie him to a tree and start with the arm, slow cook it down to the bone, keep going to the other arm then legs, then if he’s still alive impale him through the butt. That’s what they did to the assassin of General Jean Kleber in 1800.
