[LA Times title and SUBTITLE on paper's website front page: Chaos follows LAX shooting - Anti-government sentiment may be motive for attack
__________________________________________________
A composed, solitary gunman shot his way into Los Angeles International Airport on Friday morning, killing a transit security screener and injuring at least one more before being wounded by police and taken into custody. The incident was over in less than 10 minutes but caused chaos at the world's sixth-busiest airport and disrupted thousands of flights across the nation.
The suspected gunman was identified as Paul Anthony Ciancia, 23, a New Jersey native who lives in Los Angeles.
Authorities declined to discuss the gunman's motivation publicly. But a law enforcement official told The Times that a note was found on the gunman expressing "disappointment in the government" and noting that he had no interest in hurting "innocent people." Ciancia also sent a sibling a text message last week suggesting that he was prepared to die, officials said.
It appears the gunman targeted Transportation Security Administration agents, who are not armed. Authorities said he approached several people cowering in the airport terminal, pointed his gun at them, asked if they "were TSA" and then moved on without pulling the trigger if the answer was no. A witness said the gunman cursed the TSA repeatedly as he moved through the terminal."....

“Anti-government sentiment may be motive for attack”
Ya think?
Very interesting. Don’t forget Hillary’s “dissent is the highest form of patriotism.” That would be great if she really meant it, such as dissent from Obama’s takeover. But she was referring to lefty loonies who were busy revealing (or,I think, selling) our secrets.
The left has been very effective in coopting conservative terms.
I think the problem is that a lot of libertarians (who are often indistinguishable from anarchists) glom onto Tea Party groups or sites. The Tea Party is not libertarian, but simply constitutionalist conservative.
However, the press doesn’t understand this or doesn’t want to understand it, so they depict the tea party groups as being libertarians who have gone all the way to the extremist radical left anarchist point on the circle.
I’ve seen two separate types become attracted to the Infowars thing.
The old Ross Perot types - self described independents, who gravitate towards conspiracy theory. Yes - I guess you could call them libertarians, although many libertarians don’t go down this road.
I’ve also seen disaffected Obama voters drift into this.
Anti- military. Anti-capitalist. There is a lot of anti-semitism.
A very low opinion of soldiers & strong belief they are about to turn on us.
The same bunch who think no one died at Sandy Hook.
The conspiracy theory crowd, which matches perfectly at either end of the spectrum.
I don’t know why they think a conspiracy would be necessary. Obama just does whatever he wants - whatever passes through his radical leftist, Marxist Muslim head - and nobody opposes it until way too late because they simply weren’t expecting outrageous, illegal behavior on this level.
Conspiracy is unnecessary in the face of an unopposed power grab.
A couple of people who are close to me belong in this category.
They believe the NWO is in control of both parties, and therefore, our country.
They believe we will be rounded up & put in FEMA camps.
The ones I know are also into this chemtrail thing - with many variations as to what that is all about.
Well, they haven’t mentioned the TeaParty, but I did read on a CNN article that shooter feared the “New World Order”, which was described as a conspiracy theory about a “secretive group of political elites taking over the world.”
I guess the reporter isn’t very well informed, since there is nothing secretive about the UN Agenda 21.
Given the increasingly anti-citizen stance taken by police in general over the past couple of decades, I think it merely shows that the shoe might possibly just fit, and that we call a spade a spade.
“May be”...
You would think that an organization like “government” that has successfully pizzed off a bunch of people in this country would take a hint...
Anti-government??? Hmmmmmmm, lessee, I would argue that it is not som much “Anti” as it is a great number of people would like to flush the toilet and clear the air in D.C., then we can start working on the state houses...
I would not say it is hate either...But the more they press the low-information voters into a froth, for no other reason that to create a “civilian defense corp” (of snitches)...I would say the hate us actually on their side, not ours...
But they sure as hell want to create such a fragile civil discourse, that we are one incident away from this country going postal, for ALL the wrong reasons...
And guess who will still be in place to clear it all up...
And they wonder why...
You definitely bring something that we all need to keep an eye out for...
This all conflicts (no big surprise there) that he was a loner, ate his lunch in school alone, never really associated with anyone, or anything...
But this whole incident is playing right into the agenda for the further erroding of our liberties and freedomes they would like to take away from us...
I agree. Sometimes people are just crazy.
24 hours is about the right amount of time to fine tune the CIAnCIA story.
“Probably already planned, and waiting for an incident like this.”
Waiting? Why wait when it’s just as easy to make it happen?
