Summit county is one of the bluest of blue counties in Colorado. It is the epitome of a lilly white progressive enclave, where rich white progressives proclaim tolerance, yet drive up the cost of living so high they drive minorities and poor away, so they can live in utopia, and go visit poor people only on their vacations. There are two very separate the distinct classes in Summit county. The rich, and a servant class of young people and migrant workers who work in the resorts. The underclass can't live anywhere near the resorts usually, and have to drive in from a couple of towns away. OR they can live packed into small living spaces if they are close, or even live in vans.

And now, Obamacare is devastating their servant class. The democrat congressman from this district wants his whole district exempted from Obamacare, because otherwise, the whole servant class will pick up and move for better jobs. There are a lot of idealistic young people who are willing to live in the beautiful areas, and make a lot of sacrifices to do it. But there must be a limit to even this idealism.

That’s funny. I want to see how the government forces young white working people to agree to fork over so much of their pay to “others”, and I want to see how those young workers react.

The debate over reparations for slavery is just to divert attention from the fact that we’ve been paying them out (from cradle to grave) for 50 years; chalk this up to another “bennie”.
