Death Drugs Cause Uproar in Oregon

The news from Barbara Wagner’s doctor was bad, but the rejection letter from her insurance company was crushing.

The 64-year-old Oregon woman, whose lung cancer had been in remission, learned the disease had returned and would likely kill her. Her last hope was a $4,000-a-month drug that her doctor prescribed for her, but the insurance company refused to pay.

What the Oregon Health Plan did agree to cover, however, were drugs for a physician-assisted death. Those drugs would cost about $50.

“It was horrible,” Wagner told ABCNews.com. “I got a letter in the mail that basically said if you want to take the pills, we will help you get that from the doctor and we will stand there and watch you die. But we won’t give you the medication to live.”

Critics of Oregon’s decade-old Death With Dignity Law — the only one of its kind in the nation — have been up in arms over the indignity of her unsigned rejection letter. Even those who support Oregon’s liberal law were upset.

The incident has spilled over the state border into Washington, where advocacy groups are pushing for enactment of Initiative 1000 in November, legalizing a similar assisted-death law.

As the law proponents claim, it "marks a turning point in the nation's approach to the rights of young people, some of whom would be able to choose to die if the law were to pass, even while still being legally barred from driving, marrying, voting or drinking liquor until they turned 18," reports IBtimes.com Alzheimer's patients to also face euthanization under proposed law

But wait, there's more! It's not just children who will be euthanized under this new law, it's also scores of Alzheimer's patients.

"Parliamentarians would also consider extended mercy-killing to people suffering from Alzheimer's-type illnesses," said the socialist senator.

Euthanasia is, of course, the most convenient way for any government to get rid of people it doesn't want to care for. Instead of teaching the public how to prevent and reverse Alzheimer's disease, the government simply passes a new law to murder them all while calling it "compassionate medicine."

If I recall, there was a thread here not too long ago about a young man who had reached the age of majority and requested euthanasia because his conversion to female sex change operation had not turned out as he had hope. I believe it was Belgium.

There you have liberal whack-job land in a nutshell: It was illegal to counsel him to accept the gender he was born with or even delay such a life-changing operation until he developed a little more judgement.

But it was fine to put him to death when the proscribed transgender therapy didn't take.

Truly as sick as Sodom.

And the people who put this poor kid to death consider themselves morally superior to a guy like me who just wanted to give him a chance to grow up.

Kathleen Sebelius says decrease in human beings will cover cost of Obamacare contraception mandate

(NaturalNews) The Obama Administration’s 2013 national budget proposal includes an unconstitutional mandate that insurance companies provide full coverage for birth control drugs and treatments, including sterilizations and drugs that induce abortions. And in defense of the proposed plan, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius actually told a House panel recently that the costs associated with the mandate will be offset by an overall population reduction brought about by the measures.

“The reduction in the number of pregnancies compensates for the cost of contraception,” alleged Sebelius at the hearing, parroting the same claims made by Mr. Obama several weeks ago in defense of the scam, which is really just Big Brother interfering with the private health coverage choices of companies and their employees.

So now children are to receive the same treatment as convicted felons. But not just any felon....the worst of the worst. Those who are adjudicated to be murderers, ....... who receive the death penalty. Then comes a mandatory 15 year appeal. Do these children get the same consideration? The subjectivity of a chief complaint, "this child needs to die", seems arbitrary and a decision to be made by others than the one who is planned to be executed.

It is hard to believe that memories fade so quickly since WWII. I understand they are still digging up ordnance in Belgium to this very day....ordnance which was placed by the nazis. Yet here we are again....different country selecting imposition of death to worthless eaters...that life, unworthy of living.....Humanity has forgotten the lessons of recent history.....so it will be repeated, it seems. Think how far we have moved in the last 30 years.....For those of us with little children or grandchildren.....how far will humanity fall in the next 30 years? Governments contemplating killing innocents.

*Why do governments hate their citizens so much? *

Probably because they don’t see them as people. Just statistics to give them more power and money.

They have told God to stay away, they will take over as being the final authority over the people.

Hitler was an artist before he was a Progressive Socialist. His early paintings had people in them, but the people grew smaller and smaller as the months and years went on until there were no people in his paintings, or they were merely tiny dots. This is how most governments view their people.
