There have been reports of black people finding nooses, alleged to have been placed by racists. It turned out that the black people themselves planted the nooses, to gain sympathy.

There was the case of the 2 lesbians who painted anti-homosexual graffiti on their own garage dooor, to allegedly show what a bigoted community they lived in. It turned out that they had painted the graffiti themselves.

I knew a girl that got $40,000 and spent $25,000 on a Disneyworld trip for her and her friends. The rest was gone by buying a car she later totaled and did not have insurance for. $40 large, gone in less than 3 months.

I often pay with a credit card but leave a cash tip, so will put a line through the place where it says tip. Someone else doing the same thing might put 'none' there if leaving a cash tip. I figure the server would much rather have a cash tip than to have to get paid back through the restaurant.
