Reading some of the replies. We need to get away from and stop saying these people are dumb, stupid, brain dead, etc. They are not. They know exactly what they are doing. It was an either/or. You can keep similar coverage at double or triple the cost/or you can get a policy at a similar price but a much higher deductible (catastrophic coverage).
