It’s rude. We need a ruling.

We can be couch-potato quarterbacks all we want, but in the end the referees have to make the calls. If they refuse, somebody needs to give ‘em hell. And we’re the ones who should be giving them hell - NOT wasting years and years blaming all the other couch-potato quarterbacks for nobody knowing what the score is. We can scream at each other all day about what we think the score is, but if the refs won’t ever make the decisions and there’s no scoreboard allowed, we’re crazy to think anybody can know what the official score is.

***The SCOTUS did refuse. No one gave ‘em hell. Perhaps “our ancestors would be shooting by now”.

***That’s an incredible understatement. The SCOTUS basically ushered in and empirical presidency by abrogating their responsibility. It was no less than the end of the constitutional republic. Far, far more than just “rude”.

A former top general and current executive at the Family Research Council says members of the military have considered staging a coup d’état against President, but will not because of civilian control of the military. “People I’ve spoken to would like to see the military ‘fulfill their constitutional duty and take out the president,’ “ retired Army Lt. Gen. William Boykin told World Net Daily, a website best known for pushing Obama “birther” conspiracy theories. “Our Constitution puts a civilian in charge of the military and as a result a coup would not be constitutional.
