CGI Federal is a crony capitalism company that, from what I can tell, does nothing but government contracts.

Here is a job listing I saw on my computer the other day for a position in Nashville. Note it’s work for government “inspecting” public housing.

Best friends from college. Rumor is VJ’s daughter might also somehow be in on this, too.

“Christmas with the Obamas”. Can’t think of anything more sacrilegious.

Yet another major FAIL from black-run, banana-republic America. How unsurprising.

These are the fruits of affirmative action and diversity-at-all-costs.

four companies submitted bids, but did not name those companies or explain why only CGI’s bid was considered.

Hmm. I'm thinking it's time for reps from the other three companies to start talking. Loudly.

An obvious sweetheart deal like this in a Republican administration would have the media screaming for blood, and Congress calling hearings instantly.

For anyone who has never bid on a govt contract it's important to understand that price is but one metric they evaluate for. This is generally a good thing; e.g. it provides a framework for establishing that a variety of contracting standards are achieved. We know the lowest bidder is not always the most competent or desirable provider.

However, and this the relevant component here, I think, the bidding process can also be abused by those in power who determine the parameters and are so inclined to reward their friends. In these scenarios it's often instructive to follow the money and carefully trace relationships among formal and ideological guilds.

Thoroughly investigating precisely why this contract was awarded to CGI Federal is vital and ought to be part of the hearings. It looks really unsavory on its face, that's for damn sure.

I guess they went to the White House to personally pick up their check for $600 million. I wouldn’t want to trust a check in the mail for that amount either.

Two comments: 1.) I didn’t know the Obamas celebrated Christmas. 2.) Looking at the photo just oozes affirmative action. Each and everyone of them needed special treatment to get where they are.
