Good morning, Canteen.
Good morning to our
AWESOME
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, Star, for preparing the Canteen for today’s activities.
Another hero from Indiana.
Once again, gotta post and run.
Bossman is putting the pressure on
about getting a very large report done.
But before I go, I want to share a proud moment.
See this little girl here...
she grew up to be a beautiful young woman.
She is now 19 years old and in college.
Yesterday, she ran in the Marine Corp Marathon in DC.
She was one of the youngest runners.
She ran the full 26.2 miles.
I could not be there (but I tracked her via the MCM website)
but her dad and boyfriend were.
My son and I texted back and forth to keep each updated.
So, in a way I was there.
I was so excited for her and button-busting proud!
Now, gotta dash. Need to get in a walk before Bossman gets in.
Please stay right where you are.
Chat up the military or a family member.
No need to fret...you know I'll be back!
The FR Canteen is
Come in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS
