A cash doc is a great idea. It won't work as a hospital. Like I said, it's like a ride on a space shuttle.
People keep thinking that the uber rich will have their own healthcare, and they are right but it doesn't go as far as everyone thinks.
I'm saying the rich better worry when hospitals start going out of business. That means when they're galavanting' all over the place they'd better make sure that they have their heart attack near a functional, high-quality hospital. It won't matter if they're driving a lambourghini if their stroke comes on miles from a rich man's hospital.
Oh, there will be concierge clinics for surgery - doggoned right. They won’t be the “space shuttle” monster buidlings and so on you are talking about....but there will absolutely be, and in fact there already are - concierge type systems for any and everything you need. They will cater to cash customers and also to some catastrophic simple plans, and they’ll probably take the Amish type and the Christian Care type groups as well.
Outside of something that is immediate I believe more people will pursue medical tourism.
