What this actually means is that they are only ten votes from ratifying the Treaty.17.

"...if your senator is not one of these 50, you should write him or her and encourage them to get on-board."Box-o-Rocks and Fineswine...that's about all I need to say.
Thanks to the 50 who are on board, but it demonstrates how tenuous our liberties are when 1/2 "agree" with the UN.

It is true that it takes 67 votes to ratify it. But as far as implementing it goes, being ratified or not does not matter, all the administration has to say is that they intend to follow the spirit of the treaty. If you don’t believe that, check out the Koyoto Treaty. That was never ratified, but that is what U.N. Agenda 21 was based on and City, States, and County, Governments have and are implementing provisions of it in their future plans. Look for phrases such as, “Sustainable growth”, or “Sustainable _———”

But of course...I was referring to the underlying(?) problem with so many so-called “Americans” who prefer a NWO type of ruling class while claiming to “represent” the interests of the American people.
We have a lot of work to do...

Try actually reading the constitution instead of asking some random website to give you a wrong answer.
Here, I'll even make it very easy for you to read it as I will post it here. It is written in English and is really short and sweet. An easy read. No need to ask some high school dropout on the Internet to tell you what it says.
United States Constitution:
Article II:
Section 2.
The President shall be commander in chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the militia of the several states, when called into the actual service of the United States; he may require the opinion, in writing, of the principal officer in each of the executive departments, upon any subject relating to the duties of their respective offices, and he shall have power to grant reprieves and pardons for offenses against the United States, except in cases of impeachment.
He shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur;
Notice the word "present". All the words matter, not just the ones someone wants to read on Ask.com.

Whoopie, now Obozo will ignore this and order the bureacracy to implement it anyway, just as he has with portions of the Law of the Sea Treaty, (LoST).
Until Congress actually takes action against this rogue administration this is merely granstanding.

If the Rats try to hold a secret meeting and ratify a treaty out the GOP, there would be hell to pay.

There wasn’t before. The GOP is not that interested, either. The ONLY members of the GOP that give a damn about We the People are the TEA Party members. The rest are no better than the Democrats.

Yes. They play all kinds of games. I think the biggest one recently was a UN treaty, something about pollution. They hide that in a stack of treaties and got it passed even though the GOP didn’t want it.

My question is....ONLY 50 SIGNED THE LETTER? So 50 are in favor of not upholding their oaths to the Constitution
It looks like every Republican signed it other than MARK KIRK. Congrats on being worse than Susan Collins, Mark. Piece of ****. The rest are all liberal democrats, OF COURSE they aren't for the Constitution, duh.
5 dems signed it. 4 facing reelection next year in states Obama lost, surprise surprise. Begich, Hagan, Landrieu, Pryor. All pond scum. The 5th is Manchin, he was for gun control legislation after that shooting in CT. I thank them nothing. You don't deserve a "thank you" for simply not being in favor of a communist treaty. Should I stop random people on the street and thank them for not mugging me?

And yet a bunch of freepers screamed over and over that they would vote for a RAT over Lindsey Graham, but we HAVE TO elect the far more liberal Mark Kirk so we can get a GOP majority. Can you say hypocrisy?
