Black mob pounces on young white couple

Editors and readers of the New York Daily News want us to know that race had nothing to do with the ten black people who stopped a car and beat a young white couple in Brooklyn.

All the while yelling racial epithets.

“It’s not just a black and white thing,” reported the Daily News. “It’s stupid teenagers thinking they can do whatever they want.”

The attack happened Monday, Oct. 14, six days before it appeared in print in the Daily News.

A group of 10 black youths – one of them a 12-year-old girl – pummeled a husband and wife in Brooklyn after peppering the couple with racial slurs, authorities said.

“Get those crackers!” some of them screamed, according to court papers. “Get that white whore!”

The confrontation erupted about 7 p.m. Monday, as the marauding group crossed Avenue U at E. 58th St. near Kings Plaza Shopping Center in Mill Basin.

Ronald Russo, 30, and his wife, Alanna, apparently had the green light and the husband honked at the group to get out of the way. The rowdy kids started kicking the car, according to the criminal complaint. Ronald Russo got out to check on potential damage to his vehicle.

And that’s when all hell broke loose.

I live in a state where I can own a gun and carry it in the car and I still keep at least one can of Wasp Killer in both cars.

Haven't had any problem with damage and the cans stay in there throughout the summer - and one car is solid black.

I keep them under the seat in a bag from the place I bought them (like Lowes or ACE Hardware). The bag keeps the can clean looking and like it got overlooked and left in the car by accident.

As for intended useage:

My reasoning is that a crowbar or hammer isn't manufactured to be used to beat Yoots on the head either. But if you just happened to have one in the car and used it for self defense how can you be faulted for unapproved use?

I have found that there are two types of Bee Spray. One shoots a foam and the other shoots a single spray of liquid that goes about 10 or 20 feet.

Do not get the foaming spray. Get the second type.

The ones we have now are the second type from ACE Hardware and it states on the can that it shoots a jet spray up to 20 feet.

Pepper Spray is good.

Battery acid might pose some storage and delivery problems.

Thank you. I agree with you on the usage label. It is an excellent idea, and I will be picking up some wasp spray.
