New York doctors are feeling queasy about ObamaCare and many wont participate in the new national insurance program because they fear theyll go broke, The Post has learned.
ObamaCare is going to send me more patients to see and then cut the payments to provide the care thats whats going to happen, predicted Donald Moore, a primary-care doctor in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. I will not accept it.
Moore claims that President Obama made a big mistake by requiring uninsured residents to obtain medical coverage from for-profit insurers through the ObamaCare health exchanges instead of through public health programs like Medicaid.
Under tremendous pressure to keep costs down and profits up, Moore said hes concerned that commercial insurers will pay doctors less for patient visits and services than either Medicaid or Medicare.
Many doctors, he argues, wont be able to cover their costs with such skimpy fees.
Moore scoffed, Whos going to sustain the losses? The insurance companies? Its basically going to be a race to the bottom.(continued)

Oh - well you’re just a racist who doesn’t like seeing a black man in charge.
/sarc(???)
My doc is retiring early, due to 0Care :(
It’s really hard for me to feel sorry for doctors in New York City.
I’m guessing most doctors who live there are as liberal as they come - they just don’t like Obamacare.
It’s like voting for Goebbels because Hitler’s too radical.
Heh, I did have to laugh out loud at that comment - thank you! Sometimes it is really good to laugh at the situation!
In the San Antonio area, there seems to be a Doc-in-the-Box/diagnostics center/specialty clinic on every corner.
Democrats are missing the “Opportunity Cost” gene. They just can’t understand the concept.
The more money the government takes in taxes to hire your sister for a government job, the less money people have to buy a car from your car salesman brother. Pretty soon, your brother is out of a job. Then the car company can’t sell their cars, so they shutdown. The government stops receiving the tax money from your brother and the employees at the car company. The Democrat’s solution? Hire your other sister to a government job.
Heh, don’t worry your heart at all, those Doctors will be gone before you can click your fingers...
"Credit" where "credit" is due. That was Olympia Snowe.
Though she voted against it inn the Senate, she voted it out of committee because she thought it was "important enough to be debated on the floor".
Thanks. Thanks a lot...
Wow, you must be reading liberal literature... Us Veterans can’t even imagine such care... who are you talking about anyway, the illigals? Well, they do get care before the citizens so I guess you are right there...
I think that was actually Olympia Snowe who was chased out of office.
Health care? Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!
Heaven may decide to let this catastrophe run its course, but if Heaven mercifully decides to intervene, no power on earth is a match for it. Heaven can always help.
Emblem Health said a payment plan was in place for medical providers who are part of its ObamaCare plans
So what? It'll be free! /s
"You're terrified that everyone will ACTUALLY LIKE IT!!!"
The combination of high deductibles and reduced physician participation means that patients will seldom reach their deductible. Paying out of pocket to non-participating providers will probably not go towards the deductible in most cases.
It’s a windfall tax for the Feds and a windfall profit for the crony insurance company.
And you bet that all participating hospitals and clinics will require the deductible payment up front especially because the rates will be low and margins will be tight. Hospitals, doctors, and clinics are not going to waste efforts on collections when you consider that the newly insured 0-care people will be middle to lower income and poorer credit risks. So if you need a hip replacement that costs 75k, and your deductible is 5k, that’s the margin, so pay up or no hip.
By the middle of next year, people on 0-care will really feel the pinch.
