Hey Kasich — your spine called, in case you were looking for it.
What has happened to Kasich?
Sounds like a Big Government lovin’ e-GOPer’s philosophy.
John Kasich requested the Ohio Controlling Board appropriate Obamacare funds for Medicaid expansion, an attempt to circumvent the General Assembly for billions in new entitlement funding from DC.
In June, Kasich used a line-item veto to override the General Assemblys clear intent.
His attempted end run around the legislature is the starkest evidence to date that John Kasich, who was elected in 2010 as a limited government conservative, is less interested in freedom than in free money.

I’ve heard Barry called “the messiah” before but this is the first time I’ve heard him referred to using the pre-Revolutionary War term, “lord”.
Well, it’s for damned sure not the government’s money. Socialism only works until you run out of other people’s money. There’s not enough money in the entire world to do what Obama wants to do. We’re all going to end up living in poverty (well, except for the ruling class elites of course).
Gingrich thought Kasich was just about the dumbest person he had in his caucus.
Kasich is sooo done!
He craves the admiration of the popular kids.
It is your state’s money when the federal Medicaid subsidy goes away in e few years.
SOTC: here’s a “Kasich’s testosterone bypass operation was a success” ping.....
It’s NOT our money.
It’s NOT the “government’s” money.
It’s “money” borrowed against our offsprings’ future.
Given the remote possibility that some freepers aren't aware of this, not only did Justice John Marshall officially clarify that the states have never delegated to Congress, via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate public healthcare, healthcare a 10th Amendment-protected state power issue, but also that Congress is prohibited from laying taxes in the name of state power issues.
"State inspection laws, health laws, and laws for regulating the internal commerce of a State, and those which respect turnpike roads, ferries, &c. are not within the power granted to Congress. (emphases added)" --Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824."Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." --Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
So although Kasich is right about Obamacare funds being "our money," he is evidently clueless to the idea that "our money" should never have left the state in the first place. Given Justice Marshall's words, Kasich should be arguing that, by accepting Obamacare funding, he is recovering state revenues which corrupt Congress stole from Ohio citizens in the form of unconstitutional federal taxes.
Congratulations all the way around the greedy blood-sucking limousine liberal fantasy "land."
The $200 to $1,000+ that prospective home buyers would otherwise have for monthly payments - *particularly in California* - will go to pay for 0-care, The New Money Pit.
Got to defend that cartel pricing at all costs - campaign contributions depend on it.
There was a time I thought this guy had big political ambitions (although eyebrows always go up when some “rising star” suddenly ups and quits congress). Clearly, Kasich is stopping right where he is. Like other spineless Republican governors who took the bait of temporary medicaid money from the feds, Kasich will be long gone when the money runs out and the next guy has to worry about big cuts (or big taxes, if the next guy is a rat).
I am glad to know that the fourth and fifth generation of lifelong welfare recipients in Georgia will now be moving to Ohio to stay connected to the gravy train. Good riddance.
Imho, the 16th and 17th amendments doomed us at their ratification.

One of the purposes of Obamacare/RINOcare is to expand Medicaid. After all, folks like the Gov think it’s “free” money.
Money for the poor taken at gunpoint is NOT equivalent to the Biblical teaching on charity.
