If Obama and his precious "Affordable Care Act" have lost the Huffington Post, they're both in a lot of trouble.
A broken website imperils the largest expansion of the American safety net since the Great Society.
More than two weeks into the disastrous rollout of HealthCare.gov, the website created by President Barack Obama's health care reform law still isn't working right.

The site is collecting information and messing it up. This is bad. Once erroneous information is “on the computer” it’s devilishly difficult to fix it, cuz it has propagated itself into other systems and joined with correct information on countless files and databases.
It’s easier to leave the incorrect information on the files and let the poor folk suffer the consequences. And that’s what will happen.
This system is full of errors. Since the developers were under impossible time constraints they very likely omitted security and controls. This will give hackers and identity theives a fertile field to work.
The economic consequences of this disaster are only beginning.
Now that they’ve got their open credit card, the Dems have to turn their efforts towards convincing Lord Ego to grant at least a one-year delay in this thing before they all go down in an electoral tsunami.
This article is a step in that effort.
There, fixed it...
the website is NOT fixable
(and I write software for a living)
Remember, that Repubs wanted to delay Obamacare for one year as a condition of ending the shutdown, but Obama and the Dems flat out denied this? How can they delay it now and save face? Obama is a hard headed narcissist and will never admit defeat. He 'won' the shutdown and will not now move to delay Obamacare.
So this fiasco will roll on and take out the Demon Rats and the MSM with it.
At least, reap what they've sown. Feel the full effect of Dumbocare, the long lines, no doctors, high rates, etc....
The big difference, of course, is that people are not required to buy show tickets.
“Its as if these people had never run a business.”
No kiddin....
“...Strip high end shows. What is well known is that if you botch the rollout, your business is doomed....”
They probably would have done better if everyone walking by had been forced at gunpoint to buy a ticket and watch.
This is nothing that can’t be patched over with an aggressive public relations campaign, and HuffPo will fall into line with all the other good little goose-steppers. “Did we say ‘broken’ website? We meant ‘awesome’ website!” Watch it happen.
This is the government!!! GOVERNMENT never fails BECAUSE IT IS OUR MONEY!!!!
Obastardcare isn’t a business, he doesn’t need to care how botched it is. One of the benefits of being in government.
Or “it would have worked if not for those meddling Republicans.”
Is Ted Cruz about to get an apology?
Yes! KILL IT WITH FIRE!
Our Holy [crap] moment was in Nov 2008.
We knew we were screwed that night.
A guy I respect says that Cruz screwed himself.
I told him: When ObamaCare crashes into the dirt and everyone is paying 2-5X for less healthcare who will the public remember as the man who stood up to stop it? McConnell? LOL......
What’s funny is that Obama was suppose to be soooooooo hip and knew how to use the Internet to his advantage unlike those stuffy old white guys like McCain and Romney.
And now the website for his beloved health care insurance will go down in history as a great failure like the Edsel and New Coke.
