Hezbollah's Al-Manar website recently boasted of capturing an eagle that carried an Israel-labeled transmission device on its back and claimed the bird was an Israeli spy. It said hunters in central Lebanon shot down the bird and found devices on it as well as a copper ring on its leg that reads "Israel" in English followed by letters that refer to Tel Aviv University. The fate of the eagle remains unclear.
Israeli ornithologist Yossi Leshem said Thursday he was tracking the bird for research and was "incredibly frustrated" it was harmed. Leshem, a Tel Aviv university professor, has specialized in the Bonelli's Eagle for decades and said they are in great peril with just nine pairs of mating age remaining in Israel.

These Palestinian Arabs are so incredibly uneducated that they see a bird tag and think it’s a plot. You can’t cure dumb. Anyone who has done sight-seeing in Israel likely has visited the wonderful bird-sanctuaries and learns about the transcontinental migration research in which the Israelis take part. Kids can hold the birds and help send them on their way. Yes, they are labelled so that they can be tracked by bird experts across Europe and Asia.
Now Hezbollah is in trouble- not because of terrorism, not for fighting in Syria, not for launching rockets into Israel.... but they killed a poor eagle. Animal Right advocates to arms, liberals to march...

The culture that kills sharks because they are being guided by Israel to attack Muslims, along with song birds (Bee-Eater, 2012), scavengers (griffon vulture, 2011; unspecified vulture, 2012), birds of prey (Kestrel 2013; and now this eagle, 2013) is equal to any other culture. Just ask our Dear Leader who has promised to side with them.

American ultra-liberals probably applaud this action as frustrating Israeli spying. But, let an American even pick up a dropped eagle feather without a permit, and they’ll hang him from the nearest tree.
Unless you own a wind-power turbine. Then, you are allowed to chop all the eagles and others to bloody bits.

It’s the price of progress. I have nothing against wind-turbines; I just don’t want to be forced to pay above market rates for their electricity.
