Robin Leach came to the United States in the 1960s because he didn’t like the direction England, his home country, was headed. Now he fears the United States is headed in the same direction.
"It's horrifying what this man has led America into," Leach said of President Barack Obama in an interview with "Your World" fill-in host Stuart Varney on Fox News Channel Wednesday. "He's taken this country down the road of socialism, which is a cushy, comfortable word for communism.
"It's exactly the same reason you, I left England in the '60s before Maggie Thatcher came in and crushed the unions, which were destroying Britain," the former TV host told Varney, who also is British.
It's not the first time Leach has called Obama a Socialist. He made a similar case to Cavuto last year.
America needs the kind of leadership former Prime Minister Thatcher gave Great Britain, Leach said Wednesday. But he doesn't see anyone in the offing who can fill her shoes.
"That's the tragedy. Because look at the clowns in Washington, D.C., on both sides of the aisle," Leach said.

Robin Leach and Stuart Varney are two fine gentlemen.
Robin, especially, during yesterday’s interview by Varney stated that America needs a Thatcher....desperately. Further, he stated that he sees no great leader emerging from the gaggle of self-serving political pussy cats.
If there is indeed no emerging valiant leader then America is truly doomed; drowned in an ocean of insurmountable debt and horrendous mismanagement.
I hope that Socialism is ALL he is trying to lead us to.

Communism is a better description now. We do own our land a little bit still. Another round of mortgage fiascos and wealth distribution will end that.

Journalist can continue to write story-after-story about Obama - but they were the first ones to stick their arse up his rear end and yell and scream about how great this guy was going to be — the rest of us with common sense knew better...but here we are on his 2nd term - trillions of $$$ in debt - about to get worst with the ACA - and this guy is still in office...no impeachment - nothing...US Citizens, diplomats, combat operators, and Christians are all be slaughtered...and what do we get — what difference does it make...they cry about saving the children - but when it comes down to it - they don’t care - that Harry Reid’s words...and they don’t - so let’s keep aborting babies - keep spending - bring in more illegals and make them citizens - create part time jobs for everyone - and penalize the working class so that the federal govt can get more money that they are NOT entitled to....what a great country...the NEWS media failed us - so did our elected leaders that were sent to Wash DC to stop this train wreck!

Monday I was listening to Chris Stigall on WPHT in Philadelphia. A black woman called in to say that the Tea Party was formed by (racist) white folks because a Black President was elected.
I was floored! Race had nothing to do with it, Socialism and bailouts is what it was all about. I’m sorry to say....but the MSM has done it job well and has already destroyed America and the GOP.
My co-workers think the same thing about the Tea Party. I’ve tried to discuss this with well thought out words but they don’t listen. I even suggested watching Gifted Hands, the movie about Ben Carson and someone proceeded to trash his mother. They have an answer for everything. These are the people who voted this clown into office.
America is going to get what they deserve.

Not Obama.
The electorate is leading the U.S. toward socialism;
It is voting for people who consider the Constitution a stumbling block, voting for higher taxes on “the rich”, for a one-part system with no checks and balances, for people who support the “creation of jobs” through government, for unrestricted and illegal immigration in order to create a Democrat voting block, for the elimination of the free exercise of Christianity and the establishment of atheism as a basis for the new “Progressive” civilization, and on and on.

Those clowns on both sides of the aisle and the one in the white house were elected. every single one of them.
time to call it like it is— some people are too stupid to be free. they use their right to vote to compel productive members of society (who can handle emancipation) to underwrite their adolescent existence.
completely overlooked by the pundits covering the govt shutdown is the fact that even when the right throws a temper tantrum they still manage to do it in a way that is fiscally sound. you have to respect that. the left, on the other hand, wakes up and starts invoicing the rest of the country for gracing us with their presence.
I like this guy.
Socialism is one of the parallel goals he has,
but his motivation and goal is mostly about revenge for perceived past injustice.
As Reagan said in his Goldwater speech - what does it matter who owns the business or land when the government makes all the decisions about what you can do with it.
