You have it backwards. Our framer's theory on the structure of government is everything.

Elections have been demonstrably useless in stemming the tide of Marxism these past 100 years. Venezuela has elections, and all they do is serve to condone the tyrant. The American version is, "Obama won, get over it, let him rule." Last night's vote in the Senate and House proved it.

Absent a senate of the states, the very structure of our government GUARANTEES consolidation of power in Washington DC. We are witnessing the culmination of a mistake, the 17th amendment.

Because of the 17th, we have two demagogic houses of congress, whose members retain power, regardless of party, when they promise goodies to the people.

Majoritarianism is killing us, and party affiliation can have little aggregate effect.

I am still not so pessimistic. With good conservative candidates WHO CAN WIN, in 2014 & 2016, things can turn around. We need candidates who are skillful in dealing with MSM. Someone who will not be trapped easily.

Trying to defund Obamacare was not a smart move at this time, as results have proven out. Cart before the horse tactics. Obamacare will be a disaster. It is 100 times more complex to run than social security and 10 times more complex than running Medicare. Let it go into execution mode. Middle class will see quickly how bad it is. It will not become popular like social security & Medicare. I can bet on it.
