Didn’t those TEA Party congresscritters win their elections?

The voters continue to send real reformers to DC, but you establishment bastards keep buying them off and beating them down

I’m going to say it.

We Americans do not NEED the Bushes. And certainly not in this situation.

He’s absolutely correct. Cruz, Lee, et al have done incalculable damage to the cause.

Bold he ain’t.
Sounds like another white flag-waving member of the surrender caucus.

Ari shouldn't worry. Senator Cruz will be in DC giving the liberals in both parties fits for at least 5 more years.

And they can't do a thing about it.

Good Lord, they are all in it together. Hey Ari, why don’t you tell Barry that the Constitution doesn’t allow for rapid change? Tell Barry not to overreach?

None of these GOP elites will suffer when the doo doo hits the fan. They have all been enriched and will be protected. They’ve sold their souls and sold out their Country.

Shame on them.

The Constitution permits big changes, when they are necessary.

16 trillion in debt and another 200 trillion in unfunded liability, it seems necessary.

Promises that can’t be kept, won’t be.

Reps want big/immediate change in DC. But the Constitution doesn't allow for rapid/big change - unless you win elections.

Tea Party won the House in 2010. The House controls the purse strings and therefore can dictate what funds can or cannot be appropriated.

T Party ideas about smaller gov are good, but their ideas won't be achieved if they don't change tactics.

Translation: Tea Party needs to try and fit in the culture of D.C. and adopt the narrative and language of the Left or else they'll continue to be demonized more than they already are now.

Nominating candidates who allow Ds to keep Senate seats is bad tactic #1.

I'd rather have a D than a RINO anytime.

Picking fights that can't be won while empowering Ds is bad tactic #2.

Going along to get along doesn't work either Ari.

Diverting attention away from the failures of Obamacare is bad tactic # 3.

What diversion? We wanted to defund it which put the focus on all of Obamacare's failures.

Overreach is bad tactic #4. Big gov wasn't build (sic) in a day. It will not be turned around overnight. This is a long term fight.

If not now, when? Kicking the can down the road or waiting for elections is not an option anymore.

Ari Fleischer. Anyone connected to a Bush, however tangentially, should be brushed away as one would a pesky fly.

What the hell is Fleischer talking about? If not for the Tea Party, the GOP, which is already on life support, would be a defunct political organization gone the way of the Whigs. What is it with Republicans once they get to the Potomac? Are they being doped with bipartisan pixie dust at those Washington cocktail parties which gives them the impulse to surrender and causes their spines to become bent and the consistency of jello? They’re so delusional in that city. The people in Washington D.C. give an all new meaning to the word myopia. The establishment in our nation’s capital have absolutely no clue of what horrendous damage they are doing the entire country.

So we should continue doing what they’ve been doing for 25 years?

Get bent, Ari.
