In spite of the author's bias and snide remarks, I believe we should think about this.
It looks like some of us (that includes me) jumped the gun. :(

IMO, martial law is martial law - doesn’t matter how you try to define it or why it is instituted. Considering that it was Sheila Jackson Lee that uttered these words, I suspect that she only understands that it means one thing. Certainly those rulings handed down by BO and his henchmen it has been clearly demonstrated that it means only one thing.

So she didn’t really mean what she said, and this guy has to write an article to explain what she said because she really didn’t mean it the way everyone understands it to be, because she is brilliant and the rest of us are dolts.
Well, I’m convinced, so tonight when I have a beer with the astronauts who walked on Mars and maybe they an explain it me.

Martial Law? She meant Martian Law where once you plant a flag on Mars you have to take a picture of it when you revisit the planet.

One of her handlers explained, “She didn’t have her usual dose of thorazine that day. She meant to say ‘marital’ law, not martial law.”

Just an apologist for the great grape ape. Shelia Jackson Lee is an idiot and a reflection of her constituents.

She probably meant “Marsha Law” - from the Brady Bunch.

Shelia Jackson Lee is a stupid Obot. Most of the responses so far are hilarious.

Wonder if we’ll be seeing that cache of ammo that the DHS recently acquired. Take cover.

So we have to parse her meaning? Who cares what she thinks? She and Jesse and Al and Sheila and all that crowd, presumably the entire black caucus if these birds are their spokespeople:

Retarded, childlike, dangerous cartoon-characters deserving no respect, having earned none, a pox on the body politic and doing violence every day to the English language.
