A airman, leaving the air-force, attempted to signup for Obamacare. They asked for his Social Security Number and Birthdate (an ID Thieves Dream) on the website. But then it also asked for the complete bank Routing and Account number like at the bottom of a check (a real thieves dream).
Luckily, he stopped just in time when he realized how vulnerable he would have been.
Not many smart ones would be my guess.
This will be it’s downfall. I can see the writing on the wall. They didn’t think of this. SCAMMERS will get to your money quicker than the IRS. We’re dead ducks in the water...
they already have the info for most medicare recipients.Direct deposit uses that precise info but withdrawal is not permitted
This is an identity thief and credit card fraudsters wet dream.
I believe the guy behind McAfee internet security said he could hack this junk website in less than half an hour.
Probably the ones with nothing to clean out of those bank accounts.
Oh, and when the Obamacare Navigator rings your doorbell, after just coming out of an SEIU or Acorn training session, be sure to give ‘em all your info.
The whole thing is designed to fail. It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.

Faulting, not the software, but the basic design approach, John McAfee, founder of McAfee, Inc. has been harshly critical of the tech roll-out behind ObamaCare. McAfee pointed out that, because there is no central point of control when it comes to ObamaCare’s web-based health care exchanges, almost anyone can create a site that would look completely legitimate, for all intents and purposes. From there, it would easy for hackers to get their hands on important personal information such as the birth date and social security number of would be subscribers. McAfee predicted that scores of Americans will be scammed to the tune of millions of dollars as a result of the flawed design. McAFEE: Well, here’s the problem — it’s not something software can solve. I mean, what idiot put this system out there and did not create a central depository? There should be one website, run by the government, you go to that website and then you can click on all of the agencies. This is insane. So, I will predict that the loss of income for the millions of Americans who are going to lose their identities.....”

No legitimate reason for them to have the routing numbers. That was a scam site.
Bwahahahaha!!! Similar scams.

My wifes job is to track down identity theft. She is stunned that ANYONE would so willingly give all this info on the internet. Oh well, it will give her a lot more work.
Why?
Mr.X this is Mr.Z at the ACA accounting office.
We’ve uncovered some irregularities in your banking
practices and in order to maintain your health coverage
have had to withdraw funds from your account.
This may cause temporary disruption of your outstanding
checks and we urge you to deposit substantial funds
as soon as possible to avoid any over draft charges
which are a Federal offense and can result in fines
and prison terms.
Feel free to call me at any time after the sequester
to discuss your pending case.
Mr.Z ACA Navigator Federal district 2412.
Great opportunity for scammers to set up a fake Obamacare website and get people to give them all this info. People may not even realize they got scammed either, since the fake website will probably work better than the real one.
Already happening...

If EBT cards had routing numbers, there would be a lot more people signing up for commie care.
