I have a photograph of me at the age of 4-5 wearing a Confederate cap around the time of the 100th anniversary of the Civil War, in that southern bastion of slavery, Chicago, and with me, Eastern European in ethnic origin and my family arriving here long after the war.

Does that mean I shouldn’t even bother trying to run for political office?

Nope.

I have NO problem with the Confederate flag. To me, it’s a part of American history. Like the Gadsden flag.

I’m only saying that the other side sees it as THE racist flag... because that’s what the revisionist indoctrination has been teaching for decades. So when somebody carries a St. Andrew’s Cross, the libs lose what little minds they have left and point to it yelling “SEE!!! SEE!!! They want to make all you black folks SLAVES again!”

It’s a programmed reaction.
