WaPo Writer Refers to Cruz as 'Ted bin Laden'
breitbart ^ | 10/14/13 | John Nolte

Posted on 10/14/2013 7:49:28 AM PDT by Nachum

On the pages of The Washington Post, columnist Kathleen Parker (who poses as a Republican) compared the Republican Party to a fictional mafia crime family and refers to Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz as "Ted bin Laden," an obvious reference to the Osama bin Laden, the Islamist terrorist responsible for the murder of thousands of Americans:

In trying to understand the Republican Party’s internal battles, it helps to think of Michael and Sonny.

Corleone, that is. …

That would be Ted Cruz, the Texas senator who grabbed headlines by speaking for 21 hours against Obamacare. Cruz is neither Michael nor Sonny but the star of his own movie. He’s Ted bin Laden — the guy who hands out suicide vests and then goes to lunch.

Never even heard of this skank till the Tea Party showed up in 2009.
Suddenly she was a “Conservative Spokesperson”

These people are disgusting. Ted Cruz doesn’t deserve any of this disrespect. All he’s doing is standing up for what the people DON’T want. It looks like obamacare will go forward. When it gets underway, let the blowback on both parties begin. In the end, Ted Cruz will come out the winner. Open enrollment is just around the corner and it isn’t going to be pretty for the working folks — no matter which side of the aisle you’re on.

So... did she come up with this on her own, or was it suggested to her when she and those other "conservatives" went over to hang out - "off the cuff" - at Barry's place last week?

Either way, she's helping pile up flammables.

This is what no-talent conservatives hack due to make money: they sell their souls (not worth much in their case) to a lib outlet so they can be the “house conservative” - meaning they’ll agree with liberals how awful real conservatives are.....

Kathleen Parker: ‘G-O-D’ Big Problem For GOP

By P.J. Gladnick | November 19, 2008

Suddenly popular Kathleen Parker is continuing on her new shtick: pretending to be conservative while bashing conservatives. Her latest effort in this gig is this Washington Post column titled, “Giving Up on God.” As you can see, it resembles the fake “advice” that liberals often give to Republicans but in this case it is coming from somebody supposedly conservative. So let us now watch Parker with her latest bid to remain popular with the Georgetown party set:

As Republicans sort out the reasons for their defeat, they likely will overlook or dismiss the gorilla in the pulpit.

Three little letters, great big problem: G-O-D.

I’m bathing in holy water as I type.

To be more specific, the evangelical, right-wing, oogedy-boogedy branch of the GOP is what ails the erstwhile conservative party and will continue to afflict and marginalize its constituents if reckoning doesn’t soon cometh.

Simply put: Armband religion is killing the Republican Party. And, the truth — as long as we’re setting ourselves free — is that if one were to eavesdrop on private conversations among the party intelligentsia, one would hear precisely that.

The choir has become absurdly off-key, and many Republicans know it.

But they need those votes!

So it has been for the Grand Old Party since the 1980s or so, as it has become increasingly beholden to an element that used to be relegated to wooden crates on street corners.

Which is to say, the GOP has surrendered its high ground to its lowest brows. In the process, the party has alienated its non-base constituents, including other people of faith (those who prefer a more private approach to worship), as well as secularists and conservative-leaning Democrats who otherwise might be tempted to cross the aisle.

Suffice it to say, the Republican Party is largely comprised of white, married Christians. Anyone watching the two conventions last summer can’t have missed the stark differences: One party was brimming with energy, youth and diversity; the other felt like an annual Depends sales meeting.

Let’s do pray that God shows Alaska’s governor the door.

Any and all efforts to oppose the Democrats and their vile socialist agenda are heroic and should be praised.

Wasn’t this Parker person in attendance at a meeting with Obama a few weeks ago? Perhaps that it where she was got the ‘idea’ for this column. “Ted bin Laden! Oh, Mr. President, that is so funny! I’m SO going to steal that. Tee hee hee!”

In fact it was reported it looked like some "man milk" was present dribbling down her chin that day.

It’s better to be popular with the Beltway cocktail crowd than your country to exist. There, that sums it up.

Then . . . the Democratic Party is the Taliban and Obama the head Mullah!

The fact that they have nothing to defend their positions with and are resorting to name calling like little socialist children clearly shows the American people that US Senator Ted Cruz is right on the money and over the target!!!

THIS is journalism? Referring to a US Senator as a man responsible for the murder of over 3000 people? Seriously, these people need to be investigated, because there is no doubt that there is rampant bribery, blackmail and extortion that permeates the US press. I am confident that THE FIRST item on Obamas agenda in 2008 was to get private information on the MSM.

Alinsky rules don’t work against those who truly love our Country and our Constitution.

Cruz is setting the standard, raising the bar far above self service, making integrity, honesty, boldness, character and sacrifice, once again the principles of leadership, he is quickly gaining the respect, confidence and loyalty from all those who wish to once again see a free republic.
