The "Million Vet March" in Washington D.C. appears to be escalating as reports of barricades being torn down, police in riot gear and snipers being deployed, and a growing crowd at The White House chanting for its shut-down suggest the people are growing restless.

Either this protest is small - or the MEDIA is outright ignoring it...I thought the trucker protest went off with a FAIL...who else is covering this???

The poignancy of that photo is that it appears that the little kid is looking right at the snipers.

In this photo, this veteran he gave almost all, yet serves still to say no and protest what they did to those that came before him. He as their backs and ours, I am so humbled by this photo, words can't describe what I feel. IMHO it also is Obama's and Washington's worst nightmare. It screams of how insulated, arrogant, and obtuse they have become.
