Food stamp users across Mississippi and neighboring states were being declined Saturday morning as they tried to use their EBT, or Electronic Benefit Transfer, cards at grocery, dollar and convenience stores.
A Sam's Club member services representative, however, said the cards would work if purchases were broken down into smaller increments worth less than $90, but one food stamps user said his card wouldn't work for a $4 purchase.

“we are all called to love one another.”
We are called to love God first, then treat another like we would treat ourselves. Loving God does not constitute STEALING from your brother and sister while in the midst of sinning against God by allowing sexual immorality aka fornication/ignoring the commandment of God concerning natural marriage and reproducing from different sperm donors (Which brings more $$$ from the soulless bureaucracy).
Raping the taxpayer in order to subsidize your lifestyle/bad choices is stealing. Charity comes through the individual, not a soulless bureaucracy that craves dependency. Let the individual decide, not the bureaucracy.
The Schwann’s truck comes to our business to sell to the employees. I noticed it has a “We accept EBT” sign painted on it now.
Your arguing with the wrong person about people being on welfare. I never said anything for or against it.
And yes, food stamps should be replaced by MREs picked up at centralized locations on an individual State level through the proper legislation, not through the Federal Government unless circumstances like a major catastrophes or wartime calls for TEMPORARY federal subsidies. Civilization at the core is very fragile. God is very adamant about sticking to sexual fundamentals (Marriage) for a reason.
Welcome aboard!
That one? You’d think that neighborhood was well off. It’s a lib craphole on the other hand.
MRE’s have nothing to do with what I stated. I was stating that we will never win in the realm of ideas if all we can do is be as hateful as the other side. We should be a compassionate people, we don’t know others circumstances and to make fun of them in a time of need only proves their thoughts that we are heartless, when we know we care the most. We must find a way to show love to others, especially those on the other side, if we ever want them to take us seriously and listen to what we have to say. Let’s not give them the ammunition they need to try and prove their points that we are all about hate when we know we are not. Would you listen to someone trying to demoralize you into their way of thinking. It is not about being heard from you own party it is being heard by the other side. Just as someone has to earn my respect to be heard by me, we need to earn their respect to be heard by us.

They probably tried to tie it into the Obama Care system to ensure it has all the data on all the people all the time. As goes the OC exchanges, so goes EBT.
That is the poster for a rat controlled government. They can’t even give away food without screwing that up too!
obama gave away millions of laptops and Ipads also.
I have people here coming into my business with boxes of steaks etc and they purchased them on ebt cards and want half price for everything. I run them out and tell them they are stealing.
If Michelle Obama really wanted to change the eating habits in the USA, she would support a modification to the EBT rules to only allow healthy foods to be purchased.
This would probably result in lower diabetes rates and would save our health care system a bunch of money.
I have seen two carts full being loaded into fairly new cars from the clunker trade in program. obama/biden stickers are a given. All paid for by their ebt cards... and I have been in line at Rouses in Gulfport and watched them check out in front of me.
When you are 5’6” and 200 lbs... there is never a time that you are not hungry.

Its right next to The Grove, so its a decent area, compared to the one on La Brea this one is much better, they just recently opened it..but yeah, Ive seen more than 1 person use their EBT cards in that store, as well as the Whole Foods right next to Kmart across the street
