Food stamp users across Mississippi and neighboring states were being declined Saturday morning as they tried to use their EBT, or Electronic Benefit Transfer, cards at grocery, dollar and convenience stores.
A Sam's Club member services representative, however, said the cards would work if purchases were broken down into smaller increments worth less than $90, but one food stamps user said his card wouldn't work for a $4 purchase.

explain to me why most on food stamps are obese because I’d like to know why a 200 pound woman can explain how she is hungry.
end of last year we were in Winn Dixie and saw a woman with two carts who then used what looked like a credit card but then the cashier said you have $147 in your account.
I admit I had no clue how food stamps worked and so I asked my wife.
She explained and I saw her leave the store. I told my wife I will meet her outside the liquor store next door as she was going to get wine but I wanted to see what car she was driving.
Yes she went to a brand new Nissan Maxima and after she headed to the liquor store with her cash back $20 .
I loaded the car and then went to the liquor store where my wife and I saw her the food stamp woman using her cash back to buy alcohol .
As my wife came out and this woman went to the door I said to the wife “it must be nice to have others pay for your food and liquor”.
Right away the obese woman said “what’s it got to do with you:”
I replied, “I;m paying for it that;s what”
She then called me a cracker bla bla and my wife said “well lets go she is not only racist but ignorant”
The woman must never have had the race card done to her and started with her hum, hum, mother F-in cracker you racist.
I guess she never saw the irony of her calling racist names and then saying we were racist.

These people think they are entitled to us paying for their food, some think because they’re black, some because they should get it, some who think they are just going to starve,. One woman said she was going to starve and she;s about 250 pound.
I was working at a store.For some reason a woman called my friend a racist.When she left her friends told me she wasn’t herself and had a hard life.I asked what happened and they said she had 9 children.I said “Oh her husband won’t help her”They said she was never married and had these children to 7 different men.Whole different culture.
We’ve had a family move down here in our area who are form NY.
He;s black , she is white, she has two daughters with her but others left up in NY, All different fathers with different names.
I was looking to buy the house they’re renting and he called the cops on me because as he said” This is racial harassment, it’s because I;m blacks and married to a white woman now living in the south.
As much as I know he has called the cops 4 times to others.
Neighbor said he doesn’t work, is trying to claim disability white getting some side cash work.
I honestly do not understand how a woman can degrade herself to have that many kids to all different fathers and then expect us to pay for her kids.
We have 3 kids but wanted more.
We got married , started new hobs but never went on a honeymoon and still have not after 18 years.
We waited for nearly 3 years before having our first as we wanted to have money to raise them and do things the right way.
Some just bang out kids with different men and then expect us to pay for it.
I honestly don’t get it
I just talked to a friend who is a Walmart employee — it’s working there and has been working all day, although they’re getting lots of concerned customers phoning to inquire about it.
Anybody have a theory why it would be ok at Walmart when so many other stores are having problems?

And that is not an exaggeration. When I was insane enough to live in New York city, the liberal cesspool of the east coast, I would regularly - no, make that DAILY - see illegals buying booze in delis using EBT cards.
I wonder if they realize that some of those groceries, if abandoned in the cart at checkout, must be sent directly to the dumpster.
That’s because it didn’t affect ALL states. I have heard NO reports up here in the state of Washington about any EBT problems. Just depends on which state that Wal-Mart was in.

I heard Walmart is back up for foodstamps.
Giant said they take them and it was a mad house today because Shoppers, Dollar General, and other discount stores stopped.

Yeah it is unreal. What really is disgusting is the liberals who are defending these fraudsters claiming that literally kids will die tonight! I know you can only live a few days without water but from what I remember from elementary school is you can go a lot longer without food! The pictures on this thread pretty much says it all. In college I lived on soup and ramen noodles which isn’t that expensive!
