S&P futures are now over 15 points off the day's highs, as it seems equity investors were hoping for a Cumbaya moment after the White House meeting today. However, as Bloomberg reports,

So now, more than ever, the Republicans should continue the mini-bill strategy and stop giving anything to OSpiteful, because it’s obvious he won’t budge unless the R’s completely give it all up and give him everything he wants.
