I still havent given up hope that Enzi will retire.That doesn't appear to be in the cards.
I wouldn't hope for it either since that could open the door for Princess Lizzy to actually win.

In the unlikely event Enzi changes his mind and retires, Congresswoman Cynthia Lummis has already said she would run to succeed him. I doubt Liz Cheney could beat her either -- they have only one congressional district in WY so Lummis is already a defacto Senator.
But in the event that happened, I'm sure the fans of She-who-must-be-named would suddenly "discover" that Lummis is a "RINO" who "reaches across the aisle" and is "not a fighter". Of course, nobody has made this allegation before, but we know it applies to anyone who runs against She-who-must-be-named.
