“We do live in a democratic society, and I personally feel like our community would support that decision, regardless of the rest of the world,” said board member Nick Hatcher, who introduced the idea.

Very refreshing to see the 10th amendment showdown getting closer. Let's see the liberal scumbags on the Court declare the 10th amendment “unconstitutional.”

Yeah you students in Kansas!! You’re awesome.

I hope all 56 states will follow suit.

It’ll get entertaining the first time one of the students uses the system to announce “Allah akbar!”

Shhhh.... we're in NY and our HS celebrates National Prayer Day and each day after the Pledge is “a moment of silent meditation” that all students know was changed when Prayer was no longer allowed so many pray. Some just because “the man” doesn't want them to! A public school, btw.

Why not?

Even here in deep blue Connecticut, the public schools allow the Catholic church to use classrooms for after-school religious education.

The facilities are public, just like the Liberal, Kansas public announcement system is public.
